Andrei Kuzmenko Will Not Play On Saturday

Calgary Flames winger Andrei Kuzmenko (lower body) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against Florida, with the team considering him day-to-day. Kuzmenko recently had a two-game spell as a healthy scratch and is now forced to miss some action because of a lower-body injury. The Russian forward averaged nearly a point per game with the Flames last season but has been far from replicating the form in 2024-25. In 28 outings, Kuzmenko has scored only one goal while delivering nine assists. Jakob Pelletier is expected to grab Kuzmenko's spot on the third line for Saturday's game. The 23-year-old has notched two points (one goal, one assist) in four games since making his season debut earlier in the month,

Andrei Kuzmenko Records Third Straight Multi-Point Game

Calgary Flames winger Andrei Kuzmenko had multiple points in a third consecutive contest as he scored twice in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Anaheim. He netted in even-strength situations in the second and third periods. Kuzmenko also recently produced a two-goal effort against St. Louis, and he had two assists on Saturday versus Los Angeles. The Russian winger now boasts 14 points (nine goals, five assists) in 21 games with the Flames since joining from Vancouver. He continues to be very inconsistent, but Kuzmenko will have a chance to establish a new season high with a four-game point streak if he has another productive outing on Thursday against Winnipeg.

Andrei Kuzmenko Out On Saturday

Calgary Flames winger Andrei Kuzmenko is in the middle of a bout with an illness and won't play on Saturday versus Edmonton. The Russian forward comes out of the lineup after playing in eight games for his new club. It's been an up-and-down start for Kuzmenko in Calgary, as he's tallied two goals and four points while averaging just a little over 14 minutes of ice time. He will be replaced by Jakob Pelletier (upper body), who's returning to action on Saturday following a four-game absence.

Andrei Kuzmenko Scores Goal In Flames Debut

Calgary Flames left wing Andrei Kuzmenko scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-1 victory against the Bruins. The 28-year-old forward made an impact out of the gate as he was acquired by the Flames during the NHL All-Star break, with forward Elias Lindholm being sent to the Canucks as the centerpiece of the trade. Kuzmenko's fantasy value has increased significantly as a result of the trade and he should be rostered across standard formats while playing in a top-six role for the remainder of the season.

Andrei Kuzmenko Set To Return To Canucks Lineup Saturday

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko will rejoin the lineup Saturday against San Jose. He's been on the shelf for two games as a healthy scratch. The prolific Russian has now been scratched for five games this season, and a divorce with the Canucks appears inevitable, but he will get another opportunity to play on Saturday. Kuzmenko will join Ilya Mikheyev and Elias Pettersson on the top line, and we should also see him with the first power-play unit. In 29 games this season, Kuzmenko has put up 17 points (six goals, 11 assists), but he has grown his account by only five points in his past 16 appearances.

Andrei Kuzmenko Back In Canucks Lineup Tuesday

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko is expected to rejoin the lineup for Tuesday's matchup against Anaheim. The 27-year-old will return after being a healthy scratch for the last couple of games. Kuzmenko has notched 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) in 19 appearances this season, but he's gone scoreless in each of his last three appearances. A meeting with a slumping Ducks team should give him a good opportunity to get back on track. Kuzmenko is expected to assume his normal position next to Elias Pettersson and Ilya Mikheyev.

Andrei Kuzmenko Good To Go Saturday

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko (face) is set to rejoin the lineup on Saturday against Seattle. He sat out Thursday's 5-2 loss to Calgary after getting struck in the face by a puck Wednesday night versus the Islanders. Kuzmenko will take up his normal position next to Elias Pettersson and Ilya Mikheyev. The Russian forward has been close to being a point-per-game player this season, with three goals and 11 assists to his name through 16 outings.

Andrei Kuzmenko Maintains Superb Goal-Scoring Form

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko scored his eighth goal in 10 games Wednesday when the team beat the Ducks 3-2 in overtime. He had the team's second goal 14:23 into the second period, moving to 30 goals for the season. Only the departed Bo Horvat (31) has scored more in a Canuck uniform this season. Kuzmenko has also had 27 assists across 57 games during his first campaign in the league. You never really know how well players carry over their KHL production into North American hockey, but the Canucks have struck gold with Kuzmenko, and it's going to be exciting to see how well he does next season when he's fully adjusted to life in a new league and in a new country.

Andrei Kuzmenko Scores Twice In Tuesday's Win

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko had two goals as Rick Tocchet enjoyed a winning debut as the team's new head coach Tuesday against Chicago. The Russian forward produced a pair of game-tying goals before Vancouver coasted to a 5-2 victory with three third-period markers. Kuzmenko was strong near the end of the Bruce Boudreau era as well and now sits on a five-game point streak with four goals scored during the span. He finds himself in a great position to perform as Elias Pettersson's right-hand man, and Kuzmenko has had a nice debut campaign in the league with 21 goals and 22 assists in 46 games.

Andrei Kuzmenko Hands Out Two Assists

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko set up two goals in Sunday's 4-3 shootout victory over Carolina. He helped Ethan Bear to put the team on the board in the second period and Kuzmenko's second assist came when Brock Boeser pushed the game past regulation with just 17 ticks left in the third period. The Russian winger was also one of Vancouver's two scorers in the shootout. Kuzmenko has proven himself as a very skillful player and is averaging nearly a point per game during his debut campaign, with 17 goals and 21 assists posted in 42 appearances. He's been a great asset for the Canucks and fantasy managers alike, and Kuzmenko should continue to see more success during the latter half of the season.

Andrei Kuzmenko Heating Up Again

Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko logged a power-play goal and an assist in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime victory against San Jose. He came up clutch for the Canucks, taking the game to the extra frame in the final minutes of regulation and setting up Elias Pettersson for the game-winner 35 seconds from the end of overtime. Kuzmenko now boasts back-to-back multi-point games. He has had a very inconsistent debut year, but it appears that the 26-year-old is starting to heat up again. Through 26 games, Kuzmenko has tallied 13 goals and 12 assists. He is averaging nearly a point per game, but Kuzmenko actually has gone without a point in half of his appearances, so achieving consistency should definitely be the main aim for him.
