Cody Glass Exits With Injury Wednesday

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass (undisclosed) logged only 4:02 of ice time in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime victory against the Chicago Blackhawks. After going into the boards late in the first period, Glass had only one shift in the second frame. Glass was playing in only his fourth game since returning from an upper-body injury. Unfortunately, he may have to sit out some time again. The 26-year-old has contributed three goals in 10 outings this season. Zack MacEwen (undisclosed) was also lost during Wednesday's contest, meaning Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe might have to make several changes to the forwards group for Saturday's tilt against the Washington Capitals.

Cody Glass Returns to Action Thursday

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass (upper body) will return to the lineup for Thursday's matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. The 26-year-old has been unavailable for seven games due to an upper-body injury. Over six appearances this year, Glass has contributed two goals on nine shots. On Thursday, Glass is projected to work as the third-line center, flanked by Ondrej Palat and Arseny Gritsyuk. He will also get an opportunity to skate with the second power-play unit. Brian Halonen will exit the lineup and sit this one out as a healthy scratch.

Cody Glass Set to Miss Time

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass (upper body) will be sidelined on Friday against the San Jose Sharks and isn't expected to make a quick return. "We're not quite sure (of timetable) but it's not a day-to-day situation," Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe said about Glass on Friday. "We're hoping it's no more than a couple of weeks." Glass was a late scratch for Wednesday's 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild. He has scored two goals in six games this season. Stefan Noesen took Glass' spot in the lineup on Wednesday, making his season debut. Noesen was limited to 8:14 of ice time and should not be on fantasy rosters at this time.

Cody Glass Out on Wednesday

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass (upper body) will miss Wednesday's matchup against the Minnesota Wild. Glass logged his usual ice time in Tuesday's victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs, but he also sustained an upper-body injury during the action. On Tuesday, Glass scored a power-play goal, bringing his total to two goals for the season, which are his only points in six games. Glass will be replaced in the lineup by Stefan Noesen, who is returning from a groin injury and will make his season debut.

Devils Re-Sign Cody Glass to Two-Year Deal

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass has re-signed with the team on a two-year, $5 million deal. Glass, who moved to New Jersey from Pittsburgh in March, was a restricted free agent. While his time with the Penguins was difficult, Glass found some success with the Devils, posting seven points (two goals, five assists) in 14 outings. However, fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to keep up the same level of productivity in 2025-26, as Glass is expected to fill a bottom-six role for New Jersey.

Cody Glass Good To Go Tuesday

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass (lower body) has been cleared for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes. He exited early due to a lower-body injury in Sunday's series opener. Glass will continue as New Jersey's third-line center, flanked by Paul Cotter and Stefan Noesen, who will drop down from the first line. Following his trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins, Glass averaged 0.5 points with the Devils in 14 regular-season contests, but he has finished scoreless in seven of his last eight appearances.

Cody Glass Injured In Game 1 Loss

New Jersey Devils forward Cody Glass (undisclosed) was unable to complete Sunday's Game 1 against the Carolina Hurricanes. He was the victim of friendly fire in the third period, exiting the action after Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom inadvertently hit Glass with his stick. Glass logged 9:04 of ice time in the contest and posted one shot, one block, and two hits with a minus-one rating. Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe did not have an update on Glass postgame. Working as a middle-six forward, Glass totaled seven points (two goals, five assists) in 14 regular-season games with the Devils after arriving from Pittsburgh in March. Tomas Tatar and Curtis Lazar are the candidates to replace him in the lineup for Game 2 on Tuesday if Glass is a no-go.

Cody Glass Expected To Return Against Rangers

New Jersey Devils center Cody Glass (lower body) is poised to re-enter the lineup on Saturday against the New York Rangers. He has been out of action for four games due to a lower-body injury. Since moving from Pittsburgh to New Jersey, Glass has impressed by collecting six points (two goals, four assists) in eight outings. He has totaled 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 59 games for the entire campaign. Glass is expected to take over from Curtis Lazar as the fourth-line center on Saturday.

Cody Glass Sitting On Wednesday

New Jersey Devils center Cody Glass (undisclosed) will not suit up on Wednesday evening against the Chicago Blackhawks. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as the team has not provided a definitive timetable on the extent of the injury. During their last contest, the 25-year-old logged just over 16 minutes of ice time and did not get on the scoresheet. The Devils acquired Glass at the trade deadline from the Pittsburgh Penguins. Over his previous eight contests, the 25-year-old has found the back of the net two goals and added four helpers with seven shots on goal and eight hits. In 59 games this season, Glass has found the back of the net six times and added 15 helpers. With Glass sidelined, Curtis Lazar will likely have a role in the bottom-six.

Cody Glass Available Friday

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Cody Glass (undisclosed) will play against Buffalo on Friday. The 25-year-old suffered an undisclosed injury against Seattle on Tuesday, exiting the action after logging 9:09 of ice time, but he will not miss any additional time. Glass has been a regular on the second line recently but will log fourth-line minutes in Friday's matchup. He has seen very little success offensively in 2024-25, posting nine points (one goal, eight assists) in 33 games. Glass enters Friday's contest with a seven-game point drought.

Cody Glass Being Evaluated For Injury

According to Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports, Pittsburgh Penguins center Cody Glass (undisclosed) is being evaluated for an injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their game in Buffalo on Thursday night. Glass has spent most of the previous stretch of games on the second line. However, he is currently riding a seven-game point drought and a 16-game goal drought. Overall, his debut season in Pittsburgh has been quite underwhelming, as he has scored just one goal and tallied eight helpers through 33 games. He has logged 30 hits and 21 blocked shots. Glass should only be started in deeper 14+ team formats and not be selected in DFS formats, given his lack of recent offensive production. If he were to miss time, Philip Tomasino would likely return to the second line.

Cody Glass Diagnosed With A Concussion

Pittsburgh Penguins center Cody Glass has been diagnosed with a concussion. He was hurt on Thursday versus Carolina and has been placed on Injured Reserve. Given the nature of the injury, it's unclear when Glass will be able to return to action. The 25-year-old has contributed four assists in 14 games this season, averaging 11:47 of ice time. Pittsburgh also lost Kevin Hayes (upper body) this week, forcing head coach Mike Sullivan to rethink his plans. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin practiced on separate lines again on Sunday, with Drew O'Connor moved up to the top trio.

Cody Glass Moves To Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired center Cody Glass in a trade with the Nashville Predators. Minor league forward Jordan Frasca will be heading the other way, with Nashville also giving up a 2025 third-round draft pick and a 2026 sixth-round selection in the deal. This move is a salary dump for the Predators, who got only 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 41 games out of Glass after signing him to a two-year, $5 million extension last offseason. Glass, who has totaled 29 goals and 71 points in 187 career games, is looking at a bottom-six role in Pittsburgh, which gives him very little fantasy appeal.

Cody Glass Re-Enters Predators Lineup

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass will rejoin the action Thursday against Minnesota after being a healthy scratch for one game. He will bump Philip Tomasino out of the lineup. Glass has been scratched regularly lately as he's struggled to perform following a couple of injury layoffs. The 24-year-old has been limited to only 19 appearances this season, scoring one goal and recording one assist. He's been practicing with Luke Evangelista and Tommy Novak on the second line ahead of Thursday's game.

Cody Glass Out Week-To-Week With An Upper-Body Injury

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass has been placed on Injured Reserve and is considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury. The 24-year-old tallied his first point of the season via an assist in Monday's 4-3 win over Colorado but also hurt himself late in the game and will head to the shelf once again after recently returning from an eight-game absence. Luke Evangelista will likely take Glass' spot in the lineup when Nashville continues its season on Wednesday versus the Flames.

Cody Glass A Game-Time Call Saturday

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass (lower body) is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's matchup against Arizona. He was a full participant in the morning skate and has been activated from Injured Reserve. The 24-year-old has been out for eight games after getting hurt in a contest versus the Rangers. Glass was a top-six regular early in the year but has failed to get any points on the board this season in five outings. Last season, he managed 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 72 appearances, and Glass definitely has the ability to make a positive impact if he lands in a good situation.

Cody Glass Placed On Injured Reserve

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Monday. He has been out for three games and is expected to miss 1-2 more weeks of action. Glass started the season as Nashville's second-line center, albeit with very little success. He couldn't get any points on the board in the five games he played before landing on the shelf. Thomas Novak has stepped into his spot with some very good results and looks set to play a bigger role for at least one more week. The 26-year-old has totaled two goals and two assists in the past three games, upping his tally for the season across eight appearances to six points (four goals, two assists)

Cody Glass Out For 7-10 Days

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass (lower body) is set to miss at least a week of action, with Predators head coach Andrew Brunette ruling him out for 7-10 days. Glass will be forced to miss time after sustaining a lower-body injury in Thursday's 4-1 win against the Rangers. He'll be sidelined for a minimum of two games, starting with Saturday's contest against the Sharks. Glass has opened the season as the second-line center and has seen time with the first power-play unit. His absence will affect Brunette's plans quite a bit, although the 24-year-old has struggled to generate offense so far, going scoreless in five games.

Cody Glass Makes Very Early Exit Thursday

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass was able to complete just three shifts in Thursday's 4-1 triumph over the Rangers, missing most of the contest due to a lower-body injury. Glass has yet to register his first point of the campaign, and this injury will be an extra cause of frustration for the 24-year-old. He'll need to recover by Saturday if he doesn't want to miss any games. Glass' absence could give Samuel Fagemo his season debut, while Thomas Novak should move up to the second-line center role. Predators head coach Andrew Brunette will also need to tweak his first power-play unit if Glass can't play.

Cody Glass Sent Back To Milwaukee Tuesday

Nashville Predators center Cody Glass was sent down to the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL on Tuesday. The move is likely to give Glass more consistent playing time in the AHL. Also, it likely paves the way for the return of Matt Duchene. Duchene had missed four games due to a lower-body injury. In four games with Nashville, Glass had no points while playing just over 12 minutes a night. He did average a couple of scoring chances a night in his limited bottom-six role. The 22-year-old forward has things to work on but he is improving in the Nashville organization. Do not be surprised if he is back with the big club later in the season.
