Elias Lindholm Activated From Injured Reserve

Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm (lower body) has been activated from Injured Reserve and is eligible to rejoin the lineup on Sunday against the San Jose Sharks. The Swedish forward practiced on the third line with Fraser Minten and Mark Kastelic on Saturday. "Doesn't mean anything yet," Boston head coach Marco Sturm said. "We'll see, still going day by day." Upon his return, Lindholm will also likely rejoin the first power-play unit. He posted nine points (four goals, five assists) in 13 games before dropping out of the lineup due to a lower-body injury late last month.

Elias Lindholm to Miss Several Weeks

Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm (lower body) will be out for "at least a few weeks," head coach Marco Strum said on Friday. Lindholm suffered a lower-body injury during Thursday's tilt against the Buffalo Sabres. In 2025-26, Lindholm has mainly been a threat on the power play, recording four goals and three assists. Across 11 outings, he's only had two even-strength points, both coming via assists. Marat Khusnutdinov, who scored a 4-3 overtime winner on Thursday night, is set to skate in Lindholm's spot on the top line in Saturday's contest against the Carolina Hurricanes. John Beecher will rejoin the action as a fourth-liner.

Elias Lindholm Hurt Against Sabres

Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm (lower body) was limited to 9:37 of ice time on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres, exiting the action in the second period. Lindholm was unable to continue following a collision with Sabres forward Jordan Greenway. The Swedish forward has posted nine points (four goals, five assists) in 13 outings this season, with seven points (four goals, three assists) coming on the power play. If Lindholm has to miss time, the Bruins would likely promote Fraser Minten into the top six, while John Beecher might fill the open spot in the lineup. Minten could be an interesting name for fantasy managers to follow, as he has just begun to heat up with a three-game point streak.

Elias Lindholm Good To Go Saturday

Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm (upper body) will be ready to face Vancouver on Saturday. It was initially uncertain if Lindholm could play against his former team after he suffered an upper-body injury on Thursday versus Seattle. Lindholm had an unproductive 26-game spell with the Canucks last season. He's been off form for most of the year in Boston as well, recording 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in 31 outings. The Swedish centerman has gone pointless in nine of his last 10 outings.

Elias Lindholm Returns To Practice Sunday

Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) returned to practice on Sunday wearing a non-contact jersey. The 29-year-old had missed the previous nine days with an undisclosed injury. Lindholm hopes to play in one or two preseason games before Boston starts the real action on Oct. 8 against the Florida Panthers. After signing a seven-year, $54.25 million deal with the Bruins as a free agent in the summer, Lindholm is set to center the first line between Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak.

Elias Lindholm Ruled Out For The Week

Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) isn't going to see any preseason action this week, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery said on Tuesday. Lindholm, who suffered an undisclosed injury on Day 1 of training camp, was supposed to return to the ice on Tuesday but wasn't able to join his teammates. This is quite worrisome for the Bruins, who made Lindholm a big free-agency signing in the summer. He's set to take over as the team's first-line center this season.

Elias Lindholm Could Suit Up Wednesday

Vancouver Canucks center Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) could return to the lineup on Wednesday when the team hosts the Vegas Golden Knights. The veteran has missed the past seven games due to an undisclosed ailment but practiced with the team on Tuesday. "Possible for tomorrow but he's getting close," Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet said on Tuesday. Lindholm says he expects to be back before the start of the postseason. "I feel confident. I feel good. I feel healthy," Lindholm said. "I'm excited to hopefully play soon and get some games before playoffs." Acquired from the Flames a month ahead of the March 8 trade deadline, Lindholm has tallied just five goals and nine points in 22 games with the Canucks.

Elias Lindholm Takes Part In Game-Day Skate Monday

Vancouver Canucks center Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) took part in his team's morning skate before the club takes on the visiting Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night. The veteran pivot hasn't appeared in a game since March 23 due to an undisclosed injury. However, it doesn't appear Lindholm took part in line rushes, meaning he is likely doubtful to return on Monday night, although he has not been ruled out. Lindholm was acquired in a trade with the Calgary Flames a month ahead of the March 8 NHL trade deadline and has just five goals and nine points in 22 games with Vancouver. The Canucks sit first in the Pacific Division with a 47-22-8 record, three points ahead of the Edmonton Oilers, although the Oilers own a game in hand.

Elias Lindholm Remains Day-To-Day

Vancouver Canucks center Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) remains day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, but bench boss Rick Tocchet said he isn't worried about the injury being long term. Lindholm was absent from Wednesday's practice and didn't play in a 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Monday. "I'm not really concerned," Tocchet said. "I think it's just something a little nagging that's getting better every day. That's the way you've got to look at it." There were reports that Lindholm was set to see a specialist, but Tocchet said, "Not to the best of my knowledge," when prompted about the report. Lindholm has 14 goals and 41 points between the Flames and Canucks this season but has just five goals and nine points in 22 games since being dealt to the Canucks.

Elias Lindholm Sits Out Monday

Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Lindholm was held out of the lineup on Monday with what is believed to be a hand/wrist issue. The veteran remains day to day after he skated 15:42 against his old team, the Calgary Flames, in a 4-2 win on Saturday night. It's been a decent offensive season for the veteran who has tallied 14 goals and 41 points across 71 games, the first 49 of which came with the Flames. Since a deal to the Canucks, the Swede has notched five goals and nine points across 22 games but was also the subject of more trade rumors prior to the March 8 NHL Trade Deadline.

Jake Guentzel Being Pursued By Canucks, Elias Lindholm Could Be Flipped

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel (upper body) is being pursued by the Vancouver Canucks, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic. With the Canucks being close to the cap, there are also talks about Vancouver flipping recently acquired Elias Lindholm to the Boston Bruins to make room for Guentzel. This could work out for all three teams. Pittsburgh should get some good assets for Guentzel, Vancouver would upgrade their offensive firepower, and Boston would get their centerman. Both Lindholm and Guentzel would likely see a boost in fantasy production if a swap like this happens.

Elias Lindholm Scores Twice In Canucks Debut

Vancouver Canucks center Elias Lindholm scored two goals in Tuesday's 3-2 victory against the Hurricanes. Lindholm found the back of the net twice on the power-play in his Canucks debut, with the multi-goal effort bringing him to double digits on the season. Lindholm has season totals of 11 goals and 34 points through 50 games, while the move to the contending Canucks boosts his fantasy value in a significant way.

Elias Lindholm Traded By Flames To Canucks

The Calgary Flames have traded center Elias Lindholm to the Vancouver Canucks, marking the first big domino to fall ahead of the March 8 NHL trade deadline. While the Canucks get one of the best available players more than a month before the deadline, the Flames netted a nice return that includes forward Andrei Kuzmenko, defensive prospects Hunter Brzustewicz and Joni Jarmo, a 2024 first-round pick, and a 2024 fourth-round pick that turns into a third-rounder if the Canucks make the Western Conference Final this season. Lindholm, a quality two-way center, has regressed offensively this season with nine goals and 32 points in 49 games but his 6.9% shooting rate is well below his 12.1% career mark. Positive goal-scoring regression should be on the horizon, especially considering Lindholm will see top-six and top power-play minutes with a Canucks offense that ranks second in the NHL with 3.80 goals per game on the season.

Elias Lindholm Leads The Way In Impressive Win

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm registered a goal and two assists as the team defeated Vancouver 5-2 on Thursday. The Canucks suffered only their second loss in nine games when Lindholm helped Calgary bounce back from an early deficit. His first assist came when MacKenzie Weegar tied the game at one. Lindholm then logged another helper on Noah Hanifin's game-winning goal, and he wrapped up the scoring himself with an empty-net goal. The big performance snapped a five-game point drought for Lindholm. In fact, the Swedish forward had gone pointless in nine of his previous 10 outings, so he must have been very relieved to have regained his scoring touch Thursday. Despite the very unproductive spell, Lindholm still leads the Flames in scoring, with 11 points (three goals, eight assists) amassed in 16 games.

Elias Lindholm Open To Staying In Calgary

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm is open to staying with the team as he gets ready to start the final season of his current contract. "I am willing to stay," Lindholm told hockeysverige.se, according to a translation. "My agent and Calgary will take care of most of it. There is a lot we have to agree on, but I have said that I can imagine staying." Lindholm likely wants a significant raise from his current average salary of $4.85 million. He was the team's second-best scorer in 2022-23 with 64 points (22 goals, 42 assists) in 80 games and is only a year removed from a 40-goal campaign. The 28-year-old Swede has played the last five seasons in Calgary, posting 139 goals and 325 points across 369 regular-season outings.

Elias Lindholm Set To Return Monday

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm (personal) was back in Sunday's practice and should return to the lineup for Monday's encounter with Philadelphia. He missed Saturday's game against the Rangers to welcome a baby boy into the world with his wife. Lindholm has racked up a team-high 49 points in 54 appearances this season. He is currently partnered on the first line by Dillon Dube and Tyler Toffoli, who have both enjoyed hot form lately, combining for 13 points in six games this month.

Elias Lindholm Questionable For Saturday

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm (personal) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Rangers. He wasn't present at the morning skate as he and his wife are expecting the birth of their first child. Adam Ruzicka filled in for Lindholm on the first line. If he can't play, Lindholm would be missing only his second game of the season. He had a pretty slow start to the campaign but has improved as the season has progressed and sits at the top of the team's scoring list with 49 points in 54 games. Ruzicka has tallied 20 points across 39 appearances and hasn't played since Feb. 9.

Elias Lindholm Tallies Three Points In Friday's Win

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm bagged a goal and two assists as the team powered past Seattle 5-2 Friday night. He notched all of his points in the first period of play, recording his fifth career three-point period. Lindholm initially struggled to find his feet this season, but he has been crushing it since December with nine goals and 20 assists in 27 appearances. It's pushed him to 45 points for the whole campaign, with Lindholm having recorded 15 goals and 30 assists through 49 outings. Lindholm was a point-per-game player last season, so his form was always going to improve. There should also be a little more room for improvement left for the latter half of the season.

Elias Lindholm Picks Up Three Points In Sunday's Win

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm had a three-point night against San Jose on Sunday, finishing a 5-2 victory with two goals and an assist. He grabbed a record from the contest as well, posting the fastest two goals to open a period by a player in franchise history. After setting Milan Lucic up for a goal in the second period, Lindholm potted a power-play goal 16 seconds into the third and grabbed his second marker with just 35 seconds played. The 28-year-old has now gone off for five points in two games, upping his total for the season to 28 points. Lindholm has benefited from a slight line shakeup, with Dillon Dube having replaced Jonathan Huberdeau on his left hand. The move has also boosted Dube's production, as he has collected three points in the past two games.

Elias Lindholm Records Two Assists

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm collected two assists in Friday's 5-2 loss to St. Louis. He combined with Dillon Dube twice to help Connor Mackey get his first goals of the season. Despite the good work, Lindholm was minus-one for the contest in 18:46 of action. He added four shots and one hit to his line. It's been a tough year for Lindholm and the team so far, and the 28-year-old can't be happy sitting on 25 points through 30 games after being a point-per-game player last term. There's still time to turn the season around, but the rest of the crew needs to step up as well.
