Sean Kuraly Expected Back On Monday

Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Kuraly (ribs) is on track to rejoin the lineup on Monday versus Vancouver. The 30-year-old has been activated from Injured Reserve following an eight-game absence. Kuraly has practiced on the fourth line and will look to add to his 11 points on Monday. He's posted six goals and five assists with 47 shots and 74 hits in 35 appearances. Kuraly holds very little fantasy value and should remain on the waiver wire.

Sean Kuraly Out For Two Weeks

Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Kuraly (abdomen) will likely miss two weeks of action. He has already been unavailable for three games after needing hospitalization following an incident in a clash with the Maple Leafs on Dec. 23. Kuraly had the butt end of the stick jam into his abdomen, and he collapsed behind the bench after leaving the ice gasping for air. Luckily, it was revealed that Kuraly only suffered an internal contusion. However, the team still has to go through a stretch without him, and the Blue Jackets already placed Kuraly on Injured Reserve at the weekend. The 30-year-old has made 35 appearances this season, registering 11 points (six goals, five assists).

Sean Kuraly Out For Six Weeks

Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Kuraly has been ruled out for six weeks with a left oblique strain. He suffered the injury during Thursday's practice and will start his spell away from the team Friday versus Seattle. Lane Pederson will take Kuraly's place in the lineup. The Blue Jackets have their season finale scheduled for April 14, so we have likely seen the last of Kuraly in 2022-23. The 30-year-old has been quiet offensively, recording only 10 goals and 17 points across 59 appearances, but Kuraly leads the team with 156 hits and he will definitely be missed in that department.

Sean Kuraly Returns From Finland With Injury

Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Kuraly suffered an undisclosed injury in Saturday's 5-1 loss to Colorado. He missed the final period of play and ended up logging only 8:09 of ice time. The former Bruin appeared to have gotten hurt when he took an elbow to the face, although Kuraly initially returned to the game after the incident happened in the first period. Kuraly, who scored his second goal of the year in Friday's clash in Finland versus the Avalanche, sits on four points through 12 games this season. His scoring pace has dropped a bit compared to last season when Kuraly had a career year with 30 points in 77 games.

Sean Kuraly Done For The Season

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Kuraly (foot) will miss the team's final three regular-season games, starting with Tuesday's visit to Tampa. The 29-year-old put in a nice 20-minute shift in Sunday's 5-2 win over Edmonton, but he also suffered a foot injury in the game and this ends his season a few games too early. Kuraly spent his first year in Columbus this season and made a solid impact all over the ice with 30 points and 240 hits in 77 games. Brendan Gaunce will replace him in the lineup on Tuesday.

Sean Kuraly Rejoins Action On Saturday

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Kuraly has cleared COVID-19 protocols and is set to rejoin the lineup Saturday against Los Angeles. He was forced to sit out two games after landing in the protocols last week. Kuraly has put in solid work all around for the team this season, recording 28 points with 216 hits in 72 appearances. He was showing some good offensive form right before dropping out of the lineup, averaging a point per game in four outings. The 29-year-old was the fourth-line center at Friday's practice, but the Blue Jackets lines always tend to be very fluid and Kuraly should have a decent role to play against the Kings.

Sean Kuraly Unavailable Because Of COVID-19 Protocols

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Kuraly has entered COVID-19 protocols and won't play Saturday against Detroit. The former Bruin has battled through all of the season without missing a game, but unfortunately, his run ends against the Red Wings. Kuraly has enjoyed a career year in Columbus with 28 points in 72 games. He's also tallied the 11th-most hits in the league with 216. Gavin Bayreuther will replace Kuraly in the lineup on Saturday as Columbus goes with seven defensemen.
