Lightning
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Mikey Eyssimont (lower body) has returned to full practice and could be an option for the season opener. Eyssimont is working his way back from a lower-body injury ahead of the new campaign. Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said the team hopes to have the 28-year-old available for Friday's season opener against Carolina. Eyssimont logged 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in 81 games last season with 135 hits, working as a bottom-six forward. He'll be expected to put up similar numbers in 2024-25.

Michael Eyssimont Makes A Big Impact In Comeback Game
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Michael Eyssimont (upper body) returned to the lineup for Thursday's Game 5 against Toronto and made a major impact by notching a goal and delivering an assist in a 4-2 victory. After replacing Tanner Jeannot (undisclosed) in the lineup, Eyssimont scored Tampa's second goal of the contest in the second period and had an assist when Nicholas Paul potted the eventual game-winner in the third. These are the first career postseason points for Eyssimont, who had been out of action since getting hurt in Game 1 of the series.
