He took part in the morning skate but isn't yet ready to return from an upper-body injury. Lohrei has appeared in 68 games this season, registering 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists), 68 shots, and 85 blocks. Henri Jokiharju took Lohrei's spot on defense against Columbus on Sunday. The Finnish blue-liner had a fairly uneventful evening against the Blue Jackets, but he has shown some offensive ability with 11 assists in 38 games this campaign.

According to Bruins head coach Marco Strum, Lohrei has been dealing with an upper-body injury "for a while." He logged just 11:47 of action in Saturday's win over Minnesota. The 25-year-old has been having trouble offensively lately, but his total of 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists) in 68 games this season is respectable. After being an ugly minus-43 a year ago, Lohrei has a plus-12 rating and has recorded 68 SOG and 85 blocks. Henri Jokiharju will replace Lohrei in the lineup against Columbus. These days, Hokiharju sees very little action, but he has posted assists in both of his last two appearances.

He collected a power-play helper early on a Morgan Geekie goal and added two even-strength assists on strikes by Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak. The 23-year-old entered the action with six points to his name through his first 27 career appearances this season. Lohrei has showcased his offensive prowess in the AHL with a 13-point effort across 17 games in 2023-24, and we might now see him more in the big league as well, following injuries to Hampus Lindholm (undisclosed) and Matt Grzelcyk (lower body).
