Mason Lohrei Tallies Three Assists In Wednesday's Win
Boston Bruins defenseman Mason Lohrei had a game-high three points with a hat trick of assists in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win against Edmonton. He collected a power-play helper early on a Morgan Geekie goal and added two even-strength assists on strikes by Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak. The 23-year-old entered the action with six points to his name through his first 27 career appearances this season. Lohrei has showcased his offensive prowess in the AHL with a 13-point effort across 17 games in 2023-24, and we might now see him more in the big league as well, following injuries to Hampus Lindholm (undisclosed) and Matt Grzelcyk (lower body).
