Jordan Greenway Set To Return On Tuesday

Buffalo Sabres left wing Jordan Greenway (lower body) is expected to return to action in Tuesday's matchup against Dallas. A lower-body injury sidelined him for the previous game against Chicago. Buffalo hasn't done too well at the start of the season, but Greenway can be happy with his work. The 27-year-old power forward has tallied four points (two goals, two assists) across six appearances with 11 shots and 19 hits. He will return to his usual third-line role on Tuesday, where he has averaged 16:32 of ice time this season.

Jordan Greenway Closing In On Return

Buffalo Sabres left wing Jordan Greenway (upper body) is reportedly nearing a return to the lineup. He missed a ninth consecutive game Tuesday versus Columbus. However, Greenway is practicing again and looks to be getting close to being available for selection again. The 26-year-old has posted two goals and five assists in 21 appearances, with 26 shots on goal, 29 hits, and 20 blocks. He can pop up with offensive contributions here and there but mostly does the dirty work, and the Sabres could definitely use some grit after getting embarrassed in a 9-4 defeat Tuesday.

Jordan Greenway Won't Play On Sunday

Buffalo Sabres left wing Jordan Greenway (upper body) won't be available for Sunday's game against Nashville. He was injured in Saturday's encounter with the Hurricanes and will miss his fourth contest of the campaign. Greenway has contributed two goals and five assists in 21 appearances while logging 29 hits and 20 blocks. His spot in the lineup will go to Isak Rosen, who will make his fourth career appearance in the NHL. The 20-year-old was recently brought up from the minors after Rosen racked up 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 16 AHL appearances.

Jordan Greenway To Return Thursday

Buffalo Sabres forward Jordan Greenway will likely return to the lineup for Thursday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. The former Minnesota Wild winger has missed the last three games due to a personal matter. "I think he's a legitimate option for St. Louis. He looked very good," Sabres head coach Don Granato said. The 26-year-old is in his first full season in Buffalo following a mid-season trade to the Sabres last season and has contributed two goals and four assists in 19 games along with 28 hits, 19 penalty minutes, and a minus-one rating while skating 17:08 per game, a major increase over his 14:22 career average. Forward Jiri Kulich, who has 17 points in 16 games with AHL Rochester, was sent down to make room for Greenway on the roster.

Jordan Greenway Won't Play Tuesday

Buffalo Sabres left wing Jordan Greenway (upper body) will come out of the lineup Tuesday against Nashville. He missed Monday's practice and is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury. The 26-year-old, who started the season with Minnesota, has had a miserable campaign with only eight points in 53 games, and the injury is a fresh blow for him. He will hope to return for the next matchup Friday against New Jersey. Greenway's injury has opened the door for Tyson Jost to re-enter the lineup.

Jordan Greenway Set For Sabres Debut Monday

Buffalo Sabres left wing Jordan Greenway is expected to make his team debut Monday versus Edmonton. The 26-year-old came over from Minnesota last week for a pair of draft picks and will hope to get back on track in his new surrounding after struggling as a Wild man in 2022-23. Greenway managed only two goals and seven points in 45 appearances with Minnesota. He's never been an explosive offensive player, but Greenway has been averaging around 0.5 points per game in previous years and will be disappointed with how things have gone this term. Greenway will enter the Sabres lineup on the fourth line Monday. Tyson Jost (undisclosed) is skipping the game.

Sabres Acquire Jordan Greenway

The Buffalo Sabres have acquired left wing Jordan Greenway from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a second-round pick in 2023 and a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Greenway is in the first season of a three-year, $9-million contract but he has regressed offensively with only two goals and five assists through 45 games. The 26-year-old had four consecutive 20-plus point seasons with the Wild and he could bounce back on a high-scoring Sabres team that ranks third in the NHL in goals scored, but he is only worth rostering in the deepest of formats.

Jordan Greenway Comes Out Of The Lineup Wednesday

Minnesota Wild left wing Jordan Greenway will sit out Wednesday's meeting with Anaheim. He returned from an upper-body injury Tuesday night against the Kings and the team doesn't want to push him too much with another game scheduled so soon. Greenway logged 14:38 of ice time in his return and finished a narrow 1-0 loss with two blocks, one hit and a minus-one rating. Adam Beckman will make his season debut in Greenway's place. The 21-year-old picked up one point in his first three career appearances last season, and he has managed to record three goals and three assists in eight AHL games in 2022-23.

Jordan Greenway Set For Comeback On Tuesday

Minnesota Wild left wing Jordan Greenway (upper body) is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday versus the Kings. The 25-year-old has skated in only one game this season, logging a measly 2:58 of ice time in a 4-3 win over Vancouver on Oct. 20. Greenway has practiced on the second line with Joel Eriksson Ek and Matt Boldy. He is a solid middle-six forward who provides both muscle and scoring for the team. Last season, Greenway notched 27 points with 155 hits in 62 regular-season outings.

Jordan Greenway Ends Season Debut With Another Injury

Minnesota Wild left wing Jordan Greenway made his season debut on Thursday against Vancouver but was able to play just three minutes as he suffered an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old also missed the start of the season with an upper-body injury, but Wild head coach Dean Evason has said that the injuries aren't related. That's good news, but there's also bad news, as Minnesota has ruled Greenway out of Saturday's clash with the Bruins. Greenway skated on the second line Thursday night and Tyson Jost ended up soaking in extra minutes alongside Marcus Foligno and Joel Eriksson Ek after he left. We could see Jost filling the spot again at the weekend.

Jordan Greenway Ruled Out For At Least Two Games

Minnesota Wild winger Jordan Greenway suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's 5-1 win over Edmonton and has been ruled out for at least two games. He won't travel with the team for Thursday's road game against Dallas and there's also a visit to St. Louis coming up on Saturday. Greenway's night ended after only four shifts. It appears that he will be in contention to return to the lineup on Sunday against San Jose. The 25-year-old has tallied 24 points in 53 games this season with 144 hits and a plus-24 rating.

Jordan Greenway Returning Tuesday For Wild

Minnesota Wild winger Jordan Greenway (upper body) will return to the lineup on Tuesday when his team hosts the New York Rangers. The 25-year-old forward missed six games after sustaining an upper-body injury in a 4-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators on February 22. Greenway's return is a big boost for Minnesota, which has been hit hard by injuries over the last few months and has only won two of their last 10 games. Not to mention the Wild have been outscored 30-17 without Greenway in the lineup. In his fifth campaign with Minnesota, Greenway has 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) through 41 games.

Jordan Greenway On Track To Return When Season Resumes

Minnesota Wild winger Jordan Greenway (lower body) will likely be back in the lineup when the team gets back into action. Minnesota is scheduled to play the Jets next on Dec. 27. Greenway sat out Monday's 7-4 loss to Dallas with a minor lower-body injury. The 25-year-old also missed some time in November and has skated in only 25 games this season, scoring four goals and handing out five assists with 33 shots and 57 hits. He was skating with the second line before getting hurt.

Jordan Greenway Nets Two Goals Against San Jose

Minnesota Wild winger Jordan Greenway doubled his goals tally for the year with a pair of markers in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sharks, scoring with both of his shots. He bagged a power-play goal in the second period and hit an empty-netter in the third. Greenway also delivered three hits in 17:16 of action. The 24-year-old now boasts 46 hits in 22 games this season with nine points. He's riding with Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Foligno on a pretty productive second line.

Jordan Greenway Breaks Through With Goal And More Tuesday

Minnesota Wild left-winger Jordan Greenway had struggled mightily with just three assists in 17 games. Tuesday night saw the forward double his production in just 14:23 of ice time. Greenway had a couple of assists and most importantly, he scored his first goal of the season late in the second period. The goal came via the help of Jon Merrill who netted the primary assist 14:23 into the middle stanza. Greenway had a tough time generating chances and shots but on this night, the forward did not. He had 32 points in 56 games last season. Will this game be a springboard to jumpstart 2021-22? That's the question.

Jordan Greenway Continues To Add Assists For Minnesota

Minnesota Wild winger Jordan Greenway recorded two assists on Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Wild came out victorious 2-1, sweeping the two-game set in Sin City. After a five-game pointless drought, Greenway has posted three assists in his last four contests. He sits in second on his team in points with five goals and 18 helpers, just behind rookie sensation Kirill Kaprizov. The Canton, New York native, floats under the radar in fantasy hockey on Yahoo! He is rostered in just 17% of fantasy leagues. He could be a great waiver wire pickup if another winger is needed.

Greenway sits second on his team in points with two goals and 12 assists in 18 contests played. One of his assists on Saturday came in overtime as he provided the secondary helper on Matt Dumba's game-winning goal. With the victory on Saturday, Minnesota stays hot, winning their sixth in a row. They have a tough battle coming up playing on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday.

Jordan Greenway Adds Two Points As Wild Win In Overtime

Minnesota Wild forward Jordan Greenway scored a goal and added an assist to help defeat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in overtime. Greenway tallied his second goal of the season and recorded his tenth point through ten contests. The Canton, New York native, leads his team in points and penalty minutes. Minnesota has been hit with some COVID-19 positive tests and injuries in the last couple of days. Expect the 23-year-old to log much more ice time in the next few games. Greenway would be a great pick at a lower price for DFS managers as his play improves with each game.

Jordan Greenway Adds Another Assist Thursday Night

Minnesota Wild forward Jordan Greenway recorded his sixth assist of the season on Thursday. Greenway helped Minnesota defeat the Los Angeles Kings 5-3. Greenway's helper was the secondary assist on a Joel Eriksson Ek's goal in the third period. The Canton, New York native now has a goal and six assists through eight Wild games. He is almost averaging a point per game while playing on the team's third line and not getting any power-play time. Greenway could be a sleeper pick for DFS players when a cheaper salary is needed to fit in a lineup. Greenway and the Wild will need to be at the top of their game on Saturday as they play against the Colorado Avalanche.
