Jordan Martinook Matches Franchise Record With Another Assist

Carolina Hurricanes winger Jordan Martinook wrapped up the second-round series against New Jersey by matching a franchise record on Thursday, posting an assist in a fifth consecutive game. He helped to set up Jaccob Slavin for his second postseason goal. Martinook joined Sebastian Aho and Cory Stillman as the only players in franchise history with a five-game assist streak in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Martinook reached the milestone in a special manner, posting a whopping 10 points in the five-game series. The 30-year-old exploded offensively after failing to register a single point in the first round against the Islanders.

Jordan Martinook Leads Team With Three Points In Game 4 Victory

Carolina Hurricanes left wing Jordan Martinook finished with a goal and two assists in Tuesday's 6-1 victory against the Devils in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference second-round series. Martinook recorded his fourth consecutive multi-point performance and became the first player in franchise history to achieve the feat in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Martinook has come alive on the offensive end in the second-round series against the Devils with three goals, six assists and nine points through four games, after the 30-year-old forward finished with zero points in the opening round series against the Islanders.

Jordan Martinook Has Another Multi-Point Outing Versus Devils

Carolina Hurricanes winger Jordan Martinook scored the team's fifth goal and had an assist in Friday's 6-1 win against the Devils. The 30-year-old made his presence felt all over the ice, producing four shots on goal, one block and two hits while picking up two penalty minutes. Martinook brings the muscle to this Hurricanes team, but he had a career year with 34 points during the regular season and has now posted back-to-back multi-point games after handing out two assists in the series opener. He had opened the playoffs with a six-game scoreless run.

Jordan Martinook Nets a Hat Trick In Hurricanes Win

Carolina Hurricanes left winger Jordan Martinook picked up a hat trick in a 6-4 win over the struggling St. Louis Blues on Thursday. The Brandon, Manitoba native has registered seven goals and five helpers in 24 games. He had five shots on goal and now has 46 on the season. Martinook plays more of a checking role, skating on the wing for the Hurricane's third line. Despite the hat trick, he is not a player who should be considered to pick up via trade or free agency in fantasy at this time.

Jordan Martinook Returns From Injury In Game 5

Carolina Hurricanes forward Jordan Martinook (lower body) will be back in the lineup Thursday against the Rangers. He's been sidelined for eight games. The physical forward had zero points with three shots, nine hits and four penalty minutes in three games before getting hurt in the first-round series against Boston. Steven Lorentz is going to make room for Martinook on the fourth line. The 29-year-old doesn't have much fantasy value, but he will be playing with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Max Domi, and there are definitely worse situations for fourth-liners.
