Mackie Samoskevich Fantasy Stats

Seattle Kraken right wing Mackie Samoskevich (upper body) has come off Injured Reserve and will be available Saturday night against the Edmonton Oilers. He missed Seattle's season opener against Calgary but has been cleared to return to the lineup. Big things are expected of Samoskevich as a top-six regular in Seattle, and he should also see power-play time. The former Panther will make his debut in a great spot, facing an Oilers team that has allowed 13 goals in two games. To make room for Samoskevich on the roster, the Kraken moved Jacob Melanson (upper body) to Injured Reserve.

Seattle Kraken right wing Mackie Samoskevich (upper body) will begin the 2026-27 campaign on Injured Reserve. He has dealt with an upper-body injury during preseason, and the team is set to start the regular season without him. In limited playing time, Samoskevich managed back-to-back 30-point seasons with the Florida Panthers, so it will be interesting to see what he can do in a larger role in Seattle. The Kraken plan to use him as a top-six regular. Alongside Samoskevich, Seattle placed center Jake O'Brien (lower body) on Injured Reserve Sunday.

The Seattle Kraken have acquired right wing Mackie Samoskevich from the Florida Panthers in exchange for the No. 25 overall pick in the 2026 draft and a conditional 2027 second-round pick. Samoskevich had his sophomore campaign in 2025-26, registering 32 points (12 goals, 20 assists) and 136 hits in 77 appearances. "Mackie is a talented young player who we are excited to bring into the fold," Kraken general manager Jason Botterill said. "He has speed, skill and scoring ability. A Stanley Cup champion with the Panthers in 2025, Mackie's a player who can contribute offensively and add a spark to our lineup." Samoskevich is the former college teammate of Matty Beniers, and the two will look to rekindle some magic in Seattle.

Florida Panthers right wing Mackie Samoskevich (lower body) has been ruled out for Saturday's clash against the St. Louis Blues. He is considered day-to-day after sustaining a lower-body injury during Friday's comeback victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. While seeing some time in the top six, Samoskevich has contributed four goals and 13 assists in 34 games. Florida will replace the young forward with Jack Studnicka on Saturday. Studnicka has yet to score points this season, going minus-four across eight outings. Samoskevich will get his first chance to return on Tuesday in a rematch against Carolina.

Florida Panthers winger Mackie Samoskevich has re-signed with the team for one year. According to reports, the deal is worth $775,000, the league minimum. Samoskevich enjoyed a decent rookie campaign in 2024-25, ranking 11th in scoring among first-year players with 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 72 outings. He also averaged 1.9 hits per game. During the playoffs, Samoskevich made only four appearances, but he should be a regular again in the Panthers lineup once the 2025-26 season begins.

Florida Panthers right wing Mackie Samoskevich is expected to return to the lineup for Game 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday. The rookie forward has been a healthy scratch for the past three games. Samoskevich had a solid debut campaign, notching 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 72 contests, but he has been quiet in the playoffs. In three appearances against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Round 1, Samoskevich was held goalless and had only one assist. While the 22-year-old gets another look in the lineup, Samoskevich won't be in a good spot to break his slump, as he will roll with the fourth line, replacing A.J. Greer.
