Ryan Hartman's Suspension Reduced To Eight Games

The NHL has reduced Ryan Hartman's suspension from 10 games to eight. The Minnesota Wild forward was suspended for roughing Tim Stutzle of the Ottawa Senators on Feb. 1. However, the NHL Players' Association appealed the suspension on Hartman's behalf. Hartman has already served four games of the suspension, meaning he will now be eligible to return to the lineup on March 4 against the Seattle Kraken. With Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) sidelined, Hartman may be able to secure a top-six spot when he returns. Through 48 games this season, he has recorded seven goals and 17 points.

Ryan Hartman Suspended For 10 Games

According to the league, Minnesota Wild right wing Ryan Hartman has been suspended for 10 games due to roughing Ottawa Senators center Tim Stuzzle on Saturday evening. Hartman has received several suspensions throughout his career. This is his fifth career suspension. As a result, fantasy managers should not expect Hartman back in the lineup until their clash with the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 9. However, the veteran forward does have a 48-hour window if he chooses to appeal the suspension. While sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Ben Jones to draw into the bottom six. Over his previous 10 games, Hartman has tallied five points (two goals, three helpers) with eight hits, five blocks, and 30 penalty minutes. Through 48 total games, he has tallied 17 points with 60 penalty minutes, 53 hits, and 30 blocks.

Ryan Hartman Rejoins Wild Lineup Friday

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman (upper body) will return from a five-game absence on Friday versus Tampa Bay. Hartman was sidelined early in the campaign by an upper-body injury after he scored two goals in four games. He re-enters the lineup on the fourth line, as the team doesn't want to break up its current third line, which has been performing well. Hartman's presence adds fantasy value to Marat Khusnutdinov and Jakub Lauko, although there's going to be only limited action available for the fourth line.

Ryan Hartman Out For At Least Two More Games

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman (upper body, illness) will be absent for at least two more games. Hartman has returned home ahead of the team's final two stops on its seven-game road trip. The team faces Philadelphia on Saturday before traveling to Pittsburgh to kick off the new week. Hartman has already been out for three games with an upper-body injury, and he's also been under the weather lately. During Hartman's absence, Marcus Foligno has hopped on the second power-play unit but hasn't been effective in the role. Marat Khusnutdinov looks set to continue as the Wild's third-line center.

Ryan Hartman Remains Out On Thursday

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman (upper body, illness) will miss a third consecutive game on Thursday versus Tampa Bay. Hartman was knocked out of the lineup by an upper-body injury last week and is currently also battling an illness. Before running into health issues, Hartman posted two goals in four games with 12 shots. Marat Khusnutdinov has moved to the third line during his absence. The Russian centerman hasn't been effective offensively, picking up one assist in six appearances this season. Hartman's next opportunity to return comes on Saturday versus Philadelphia.

Ryan Hartman Labeled As Day-To-Day

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman (upper body) is considered day-to-day despite coming through a full practice on Monday. He missed his first game of the season on Saturday against Columbus due to an upper-body injury. It looks like he might return to the lineup for Tuesday's game against Florida, but we won't know for certain until after the morning skate. Hartman has registered two goals with 12 shots in four appearances this season. He started the campaign on the third line but has also seen some top-six action due to Joel Eriksson Ek's absence. Eriksson Ek was back in the lineup at the weekend, which doesn't bode well for Hartman's fantasy value.

Ryan Hartman Suspended Three Games

Minnesota Wild center Ryan Hartman has been hit with a three-game ban for unsportsmanlike conduct following a 2-1 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. Hartman was assessed a 10-minute misconduct for his behavior at 3:30 of overtime. The Wild had pulled their goaltender in overtime, which left them vulnerable to lose the point they had gained by taking the contest past regulation but once Vegas scored, the Wild forfeited the point and were left without a point on the evening. For the season, Hartman has recorded 19 goals and 42 points across 68 games but has also added 72 hits and 72 penalty minutes to his ledger, making him a decent depth addition for fantasy managers.

Ryan Hartman To Have a Hearing On Monday

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday. The pivot is facing discipline for unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of a 2-1 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. The Wild pulled their goaltender in the extra frame on Saturday, and when the Golden Knights scored into the empty net the Wild forfeited the one point they earned in regular time. Hartman then received a minor penalty for abusive language. The Wild sit at 35-29-9, eight points back of the Los Angeles Kings for the second and final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.

Ryan Hartman Picks Up Pair Of Points Versus Flyers

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman had his second multi-point outing of the campaign on Friday against Philadelphia, scoring in a second consecutive game and bagging an assist in a 4-3 overtime loss. He earned both of his points in the third period. Hartman's other multi-point effort was a massive five-point game on Oct. 24 against Edmonton. The 29-year-old hasn't been very consistent on the scoring front, but the last few weeks have gone well for Hartman. In 11 outings since Dec. 18, he's recorded six goals and three assists. The improvement in form has pushed Hartman to 22 points (13 goals, nine assists) for the year with 36 games played.

Ryan Hartman Starts Two-Game Suspension On Tuesday

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will serve the first game of a two-game suspension Tuesday versus St. Louis. He received the suspension for a dangerous trip of Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat in Sunday's game. Hartman will also be forced to sit out Thursday's matchup against Nashville. The 29-year-old has dropped down in the lineup lately but has seen the most action on the first line this season, so his suspension is a significant blow for the Wild, who've run into all sorts of problems in 2023-24.

Ryan Hartman Collects Five Points In Win Over Oilers

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman tore the Oilers apart Tuesday night, matching his career high with five points in a 7-4 win. The 29-year-old potted his second career hat trick and delivered two assists. All of the points came in even-strength situations. Hartman had totaled only one goal and one assist through the first five outings of the year. The American forward has been slumping since last season, and Tuesday's spectacular night should do a world of good for his confidence.

Ryan Hartman Signs Three-Year Extension With Wild

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman has inked a three-year, $12 million extension. The contract will have a cap hit of $4 million and runs through the 2026-27 season. Hartman's current deal, which is set to expire next summer, counts $1.7 million against the salary cap. This is a nice raise for the American forward and it comes despite Hartman having a down year in 2022-23. Following an impressive 65-point season, he could only record 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 59 games. The 29-year-old, who is set to start his fifth campaign in Minnesota, will aim to have a bounce-back season in 2023-24 as the Wild's first-line center.

Ryan Hartman Dealing With Upper-Body Injury

Minnesota Wild center Ryan Hartman is dealing with an upper-body injury and left Thursday's practice early, although his departure was planned, according to head coach Dean Evason. Evason said he doesn't want Hartman participating in contact drills at this stage in camp. The 29-year-old recorded 15 goals and 37 points across 59 games last season but also recorded a career-high 34 goals and 239 shots on goal in the 2021-22 campaign. Additionally, Hartman has recorded at least 90 penalty minutes in each of the last two seasons. Given his goal-scoring potential, ability to rack up shots and penalty minutes, and his spot as the club's No. 1 center in between Mats Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov, Hartman could be a quality depth piece in fantasy leagues this winter.

Ryan Hartman Collects Three Points In Game 3 Win Over Dallas

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman scored one goal and logged one assist as they topped Dallas 5-1 on Friday. Minnesota leads the best-of-seven opening round Western Conference series 2-1. Hartman was a massive factor in Game 3 after missing Game 2 due to a lower-body injury. Besides scoring and being a playmaker in the offensive end, Hartman also had three shots on goal and three blocked shots. The two teams will be back in action Sunday for Game 4 in Minnesota.

Ryan Hartman Delivers The Victory For Wild In Game 1

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 3-2 double-overtime victory against Dallas. With 12:20 played in the second overtime, Hartman collected a loose puck in front of the Stars net and scored only his fifth career postseason goal. Hartman had four shots in total on the net and registered one block and three hits with two penalty minutes in the contest. The game went down in the history books as the Wild's longest-ever in the playoffs and Hartman logged 25:31 of ice time in it. The 28-year-old hasn't had a great campaign in 2022-23, but all will be forgotten if he becomes a big performer during the postseason. The potential for Hartman to rack up points is there, with him partnered up with the Wild's best scorers Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello.

Ryan Hartman Suspended For Thursday

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will be forced to sit out the team's regular-season finale on Thursday against Nashville due to a suspension. He received a one-game suspension for interfering with Nikolaj Ehlers of the Winnipeg Jets in Tuesday's 3-1 loss. Hartman delivered Ehlers a huge open-ice hit when he was without the puck. The Jets winger was injured on the play and couldn't complete the game. It's Hartman's second career suspension following a one-game punishment during the 2018 playoffs for an illegal check to the head. Hartman had a down year in 2022-23, putting up only 15 goals and 37 points in 59 games. His absence will likely give Marco Rossi a top-six role Thursday.

Ryan Hartman Racks Up Three Points Against The Blues

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman tallied three points as the team went goal-crazy Wednesday in an 8-5 victory over St. Louis. Sammy Walker ended up being the only forward on the team without a point. Hartman started his night with a power-play assist, then added a power-play goal and ended up wrapping things up with a goal in a short-handed situation. The 2022-23 campaign has mostly been full of misery for Hartman, but he has stepped up lately with six points in four games. For the season overall, Hartman's numbers are still lacking, as he sits on 12 goals and 17 assists through 46 games.

Ryan Hartman Takes Down Nashville

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman scored the game-winning goal and posted one assist in Sunday's 4-3 triumph over the Predators. Kirill Kaprizov's two goals put Minnesota in a 3-1 lead in the third period but a late goal from Hartman was eventually needed to get the two points. He scored his seventh goal of the campaign with 21 seconds remaining in regulation, which is the third-latest go-ahead goal in franchise history. It was a great moment for Hartman, whose season has been a nightmare overall. He averaged a career-high 0.83 points per game a season ago but has managed only 0.53 in 2022-23. The 28-year-old has been back on the top line with some success lately, but a player of his caliber should still be able to do a lot better. Hartman has recorded only 18 points in 34 games for the season overall.

Ryan Hartman Back On Top Line Wednesday

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will return to the top line in Wednesday's game against the Stars. He had a breakout campaign in the role last season but has struggled for form in 2022-23. However, with the first line having struggled in recent times, Wild head coach Dave Evason is giving Hartman another shot with Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello. Hartman's form has been so poor this season that he even missed a game as a healthy scratch on Jan. 26. He has totaled only five goals and 15 points in 27 games. Sam Steel, who finds himself on a seven-game point drought, will drop down to the third line Wednesday.

Ryan Hartman Sits As A Healthy Scratch

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will be a healthy scratch for Thursday's encounter with the Flyers. Wild head coach Dave Evason isn't happy with Hartman's discipline and the 28-year-old will now get some time off to think about his actions. Evason can't be satisfied with Hartman's offensive contributions either this season, as he has followed up a breakthrough campaign with a measly 14 points in 25 games. Brandon Duhaime will skate in his spot on the third line Thursday, and Hartman will have a first opportunity to return Saturday versus Buffalo.
