Ryan O'Reilly Returns With Three-Point Effort

Nashville Predators center Ryan O'Reilly rejoined the lineup and had a great game in Thursday's 4-1 victory at Dallas. He was involved in three goals, lightning the lamp twice and recording one assist. The veteran forward had missed the previous three games with a lower-body injury. O'Reilly's productivity has been disappointing this season, but it hasn't been easy for him on a struggling team. Through 27 outings, O'Reilly is sporting 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists). Most of his points (8) came in October, so there have been some really dark times for O'Reilly in the last couple of months, but he'll have some momentum following Thursday's impressive performance.

Ryan O'Reilly Out Week-To-Week

Nashville Predators center Ryan O'Reilly (lower body) has been labeled as week-to-week. He missed his first game of the season Thursday versus Montreal, and unfortunately, O'Reilly isn't expected to make a quick return. The veteran forward has bagged 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 26 outings this season, putting him third in scoring on the team. Steven Stamkos took on first-line center duties on Thursday, with Fedor Svechkov slotting into the second line. Zachary L'Heureux also saw time in the top six as the struggling Predators were handed another defeat on Thursday.

Ryan O'Reilly Continues Hot Spell With Three-Point Effort

Nashville Predators center Ryan O'Reilly was forced to witness the first loss in nine games for his team against Montreal on Tuesday, but from a personal perspective, it was another superb outing for him. The veteran forward finished a 4-3 overtime loss with a goal and two assists. O'Reilly scored in a third consecutive game, and he'll head into the next matchup carrying a five-game point streak. Following a largely disappointing campaign in 2022-23, O'Reilly has found a spark again this season and is on course for his first 70-point year since 2018-19. With 63 games played, he sits on 23 goals and 31 assists.

Ryan O'Reilly Tallies Three Points In Win Over Dallas

All the points came in the third period, with O'Reilly scoring his 16th goal of the season and collecting a pair of assists, one on the power play. The veteran forward is enjoying a prolific start to 2024. Through five January appearances, O'Reilly has notched two goals and six assists. Ryan O'Reilly Totals Three Points In Saturday's Dramatic Victory

Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly was the most productive player in Saturday's Game 3 against Tampa Bay, finishing a 4-3 overtime win with three points. He posted a goal and two assists, becoming only the second player in franchise history to factor on both a game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation and the winner in overtime in a playoff game. O'Reilly was also involved in a fight with Nikita Kucherov in the third period, giving him a Gordie Howe hat trick in the game. Toronto is now 2-1 up in the matchup, and O'Reilly has been cooking throughout the series, putting up two goals and three assists in three games.

Ryan O'Reilly Could Return This Week

Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly (finger) could return to the lineup at some point this week, according to head coach Sheldon Keefe. O'Reilly has been sidelined since early March after suffering the injury in a loss against the Canucks, and the veteran center is now ramping up in his recovery process as he gets closer to a return prior to the end of the regular season. O'Reilly has produced three goals and two assists in eight games with the Maple Leafs since being traded from the Blues on February 17, and the 32-year-old forward is a solid option across standard formats.

Ryan O'Reilly Ruled Out For Four Weeks

Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly (finger) will need four weeks to recover after undergoing surgery to repair a broken index finger. After picking up the injury against Vancouver on Saturday, Toronto hoped to get O'Reilly back for the playoffs, but he should also be able to feature in the final few regular-season games for the team. David Kampf will take over O'Reilly's spot as the third-line center Tuesday against New Jersey, while Sam Lafferty is moving to the second line with John Tavares (illness) also missing.

Ryan O'Reilly To Be Placed On Long-Term Injured Reserve

Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly will be placed on long-term Injured Reserve after he broke his finger over the weekend in a game against Vancouver. As a result, the 32-year-old will miss most of the month and won't be eligible to return until March 29. O'Reilly might even be done for the rest of the regular season, depending on how things unfold regarding his recovery and the team's playoff placement. He is expected to be fully healthy for the postseason. O'Reilly had an explosive start with the Maple Leafs and posted three goals and two assists in his first three games before going on a five-game scoreless streak.

Ryan O'Reilly Exits With Apparent Hand Injury

Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly missed the entire third period in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Vancouver after blocking a shot with his hand. He finished with 11:11 of ice time and registered one shot on goal. Toronto head coach Sheldon Keefe didn't have an immediate update on O'Reilly after the game. O'Reilly has started life in Toronto with three goals and five points in eight games. A significant injury would be a big blow for the Maple Leafs, who made a major move by bringing in O'Reilly from St. Louis on Feb. 17.

Ryan O'Reilly Gets A Hat Trick In Third Game For Toronto

Toronto Maple Leafs center Ryan O'Reilly scored two quick goals at the start of the game and completed his fourth career hat trick with an empty-netter in Tuesday's 6-3 win over Buffalo. He also had an assist in the meeting with his former team. O'Reilly became the ninth player ever to score a hat trick within his first three games for the Maple Leafs. He has made a very encouraging start to life at his new club with five points in three games. O'Reilly's line with John Tavares and Mitchell Marner combined for a total of 13 points Tuesday.

Maple Leafs Acquire Ryan O'Reilly

The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired centers Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Mikhail Abramov, forward Adam Gaudette, a first-round pick and third-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, and a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. The Maple Leafs will be O'Reilly's fourth NHL team after he spent time with the Avalanche, Sabres and Blues. O'Reilly has scored 12 goals and added seven assists through 40 games this season, and the 32-year-old can become an unrestricted free agent after the season as he is in the final year of his seven-year contract. Acciari has totaled 10 goals and eight assists through 54 games, and he provides the team with added depth on the fourth line. O'Reilly's move to the Maple Leafs increases his fantasy value across standard formats as he joins a very productive offense that ranks seventh in the league in goals scored.

Ryan O'Reilly, Pavel Buchnevich On Track To Return Saturday

St. Louis Blues forwards Ryan O'Reilly (foot) and Pavel Buchnevich (ankle) are expected to be back in action Saturday against Arizona. O'Reilly broke his foot and hasn't played since Dec. 31, while Buchnevich missed four games prior to the All-Star break after having a minor surgical procedure on his ankle. Robert Thomas (lower body) is set to return as well from a two-game absence, so the Blues offense is about to get a huge boost for the first game in the post-Vladimir Tarasenko era.

Ryan O'Reilly Out With A Broken Foot

St. Louis Blues center Ryan O'Reilly has suffered a broken foot and will be re-evaluated in six weeks. He sustained the unfortunate injury whilst blocking a shot in Saturday's matchup against Minnesota. It's a fresh blow for O'Reilly during a miserable campaign. He exits the lineup after having a horrible run of one point in nine games. Through 37 total outings, the Blues captain has tallied 10 goals and six assists while recording a league-worst minus-28 rating. With Vladimir Tarasenko (hand) also set to miss multiple weeks, the team has recalled Jake Neighbours from the AHL. He will enter the lineup on the third line but could eventually end up having a bigger role if he plays well enough. Neighbours hasn't yet done a lot at the NHL level, but he's been in fine form in the minors with seven goals and 14 points notched in 19 games.

Ryan O'Reilly Continues To Heat Up

St. Louis Blues center Ryan O'Reilly helped his team to a 5-2 win over Chicago Wednesday night, producing a short-handed goal and delivering one assist. His goal, which came 8:08 into the second period, ended up being the game-winning tally. O'Reilly's assist came a few minutes before the first intermission when Calle Rosen scored. The Blues have been a major letdown early in the season and it's affected everybody on the roster. O'Reilly's start was so poor that he recorded just one point from the first 10 games of the campaign. However, the team has now turned the corner, and it's helped O'Reilly to pick up some nice momentum, with him averaging a point a night across the last five games. Many managers dropped the three-time All-Star due to his poor start, so there's a decent chance that you can find him on waivers.

Ryan O'Reilly Ties Blues Record With Another Goal

St. Louis Blue center Ryan O'Reilly scored in a fifth consecutive game on Tuesday, tying the franchise record for the longest postseason goal streak. He opened the scoring in the first period in an eventual 3-2 overtime loss to Colorado. O'Reilly has been very sharp in front of the net during the playoffs, scoring in six of his seven outings. Four of the goals have come on the power play, and he heads into Thursday's Game 2 on nine points. The Blues showed in Game 1 that they can be competitive in the series and O'Reilly should see further success in the matchup.

Ryan O'Reilly Produces Two Assists Saturday

St. Louis Blues captain Ryan O' Reilly logged two assists Saturday, handing Montreal their six straight loss by the score of 4-1. O'Reilly's helpers came in the first and third periods. He is having a pretty average season point-wise, logging four markers and 12 goals in the first quarter of the season. However, he does have three points in his last two games played. The Blues centerman plays a massive role for his team in many ways, but he will also have to contribute more offensively as the season goes on.

Ryan O'Reilly Dishes Out Two Assists Against Florida

St. Louis Blues center Ryan O'Reilly collected two assists in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Florida, adding three shots with a plus-one rating in 22:24 of ice time. The Blues captain now boasts 13 points for the year in 20 appearances. It's not been a great campaign for O'Reilly, but he was out with COVID-19 not long ago and is still looking to get back to his best. There was nothing wrong with O'Reilly's start of the season, as he opened proceeding with a five-game point streak before getting sidelined.

Ryan O'Reilly Out For At Least Four Games With COVID-19

St. Louis Blues center Ryan O'Reilly tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday and will miss at least four games due to experiencing symptoms. Brandon Saad, who's already missed a couple of games, also remains in the protocol and won't be able to return until next week. O'Reilly has started the season with a five-game point streak, scoring twice and handing out three assists. Someone like Ivan Barbashev could be a big beneficiary of O'Reilly's absence. He's played center and could very well replace the Blues captain in a top-six role. Barbashev has been in good form and boasts a five-game point streak of his own.

Ryan O'Reilly Contributes To Blues Victory Wednesday

St. Louis Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly tallied his third point, picking up an assist on Brandon Saad's second-period goal on Wednesday. The Blues beat Vegas 3-1 and now have a perfect record at 3-0-0. O'Reilly has one goal and two helpers in three contests. If the Blues continue to keep winning, the centerman's point totals will keep rising. Veterans Brandon Saad and David Perron, his linemates, have been productive offensively for most of their careers. St. Louis has a favorable schedule coming up with four games being played at home. Look for O'Reilly to add to his point totals during the four-game homestand.

Ryan O'Reilly Clinches Win For St. Louis

St. Louis Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly netted two goals on Thursday to help his team defeat Minnesota 5-4. O'Reilly's second marker of the game came in overtime to put the Blues on top. He is second in points on St. Louis with 22 goals and 25 assists in 48 contests. Like the Blues, the Canadian centerman has elevated his game, recording eight points in his last five outings. The former Colorado Avalanche should be a key component for fantasy manager's lineups late in the season as St. Louis continues to win and O'Reilly continues to produce points.
