Tristan Jarry Expected to Be Available Wednesday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry (lower body) could be back in the lineup on Wednesday night against the Buffalo Sabres. "I think he's progressing very well," Penguins head coach Muse said after Tuesday's practice. "And so, I would expect that he is going to be available here for us tomorrow. Like, he's had some really good days. I think he's looked good." Jarry has been out of action since Nov. 3 due to a lower-body injury. He has been solid for the Penguins this season, putting together a 5-2-0 record in seven starts with one shutout. Jarry has registered a 2.60 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. Sergei Murashov has been with Pittsburgh during Jarry's absence, going 1-1-1 with one shutout. He will likely be returned to the minors to activate Jarry from Injured Reserve.

The former All-Star definitely needs to improve his form this season if he wants to reclaim his spot as the Penguins' undisputed starter.

The shot total was even throughout the entire contest, and Jarry was able to step up when called on. Jarry rejoined the NHL roster in March and has reclaimed his No. 1 role in the crease. Since March 9, Jarry has posted a 7-3-2 record with a .902 save percentage and a 2.87 GAA. During this stretch, he has allowed three goals or fewer in nine contests. Even though the Penguins are out of the playoff picture, the 29-year-old has begun to turn his career around. At the start of the season, Jarry posted a high 3.31 GAA with a .884 save percentage and was eventually optioned to the AHL for the majority of the campaign. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should consider Jarry a viable streaming option during the final week, given his recent turnaround.

Tristan Jarry Shuts The Door On Ottawa On Sunday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped all 31 shots he faced en route to defeating the Ottawa Senators. This contest went to overtime, but Jarry was able to keep the Senators off the scoresheet all evening. Sidney Crosby would eventually break the stalemate in overtime. This was a nice bounce-back outing for Jarry as he entered Sunday riding a three-game losing streak. During this streak, he held a 0-2-1 record with a 6.21 GAA and a .780 save percentage. However, before this skid, Jarry was performing very well since he returned to the NHL at the start of the month, posting a 4-1 record with a 2.40 GAA and a .928 save percentage. Fantasy managers should expect Jarry to continue to see the majority of starts in the crease with Alex Nedeljkovic serving as the No. 2. Jarry's next start will likely come on Thursday against the St. Louis Blues.

Tristan Jarry Picks Up Third Straight Victory

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry picked up his third-straight victory on Thursday evening, stopping 33 of the 36 shots he saw en route to defeating the St. Louis Blues. Tristan Jarry Starting On Tuesday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry will get the starting nod for the second-straight contest on Tuesday evening to face the Vegas Golden Knights. After spending the past two months in the AHL, Jarry bounced-back in his first outing since January as he stopped 20 of the 30 shots he saw en route to defeating the Minnesota Wild. Jarry will now cover the starter's crease against the Golden Knights.
