Tristan Jarry Back In Penguins Net Monday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry will return to the crease on Monday versus Montreal. Joel Blomqvist has started back-to-back games for the team after Jarry was lit up 6-0 by the Rangers in Pittsburgh's season opener on home ice. Jarry finished the contest with 34 saves and a .850 save percentage. He will be expected to do a lot better on Monday, although it's a tricky matchup. The Canadiens have gone 2-1-0 through the first few games of the season and have Sam Montembeault in hot form between the sticks. In previous years, Jarry has had a lot of success against Montreal, with a 6-1-1 record in nine career appearances.

Tristan Jarry Expected To Be Back At Practice On Tuesday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) is expected to rejoin the team on Tuesday after missing Monday's practice session. Jarry missed practice because of a "medical appointment." Pittsburgh's No. 1 will hope to get a good preseason under his belt after struggling for most of 2023-24. Jarry posted a new career high with six shutouts but finished the campaign with a career-worst .903 save percentage and had a losing record of 19-25-5. He will start the second season of a five-year, $26.9 million contract extension signed last summer.

Tristan Jarry Posts League-Leading Sixth Shutout

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry was perfect in Tuesday's 3-0 victory against the Jets. Jarry made 23 saves in the contest, while posting his NHL-best sixth shutout of the season to break a tie with Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko and Coyotes goaltender Connor Ingram. Jarry improves to a record of 14-14-4 to go along with a 2.45 goals against average and .916 save percentage through 33 appearances.

Tristan Jarry Posts Shutout Wednesday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry was flawless on Wednesday, stopping all 22 shots he faced to pick up his fourth shutout of the season. Jarry had been struggling recently, but apparently the holiday break was just what he needed, as the 28-year-old put up a vintage performance against the New York Islanders. He had recently been backing up Alex Nedeljkovic, but he should retake the starting role with this victory. If he was hastily dropped in any leagues, he should be picked up immediately.

Tristan Jarry Caps Off Winning Performance With Historic Goal

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry had a night to remember against Tampa Bay on Thursday, as he became the first netminder in franchise history to score a goal. Jarry capped off a 4-2 win with an empty-net goal with a little over a minute left to play. He's the 14th different goal to score a goal in an NHL regular-season contest and only the fourth to do it over the last 10 years. The Penguins No. 1 did his usual tasks at an impressive level as well, saving 39 of 41 shots. Jarry improved to 8-8-1 for the season, and he boasts a 2.45 goals-against average with a .919 save percentage and three shutouts.

Tristan Jarry Struggles in Loss Thursday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry was not at his best Thursday night when the club took a 5-2 loss at the hands of the visiting New Jersey Devils. The 28-year-old was responsible for all five Devils goals surrendered on the night while facing just 30 shots (.833 save percentage), dropping his sixth decision of the season in 12 starts. Jarry has been dealing with swelling around his eye following a Nov. 11 collision with Ducks forward Adam Henrique and has since allowed eight goals on 60 shots (.867 Sv%) across two games, going 1-1-0 in that time. It's been an up-and-down season for the Pens' No. 1 netminder who has three shutouts on the campaign but has also allowed at least four goals in four of his last 10 outings. Nonetheless, he brought a healthy 2.31 goals-against average and .918 Sv% into Thursday's action.

Tristan Jarry Back For Penguins On Saturday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry (eye) will return to the crease for Saturday's game against Buffalo. He was hurt earlier in the week when he was struck by a puck, missing Thursday's meeting with Los Angeles. Jarry has had an up-and-down start to the campaign, but he has won his last two starts and boasts two shutouts for the season. The 28-year-old carries a 4-5-0 record and has produced a 2.51 goals-against average with a .907 save percentage. He faces a Sabres team hat has averaged 3.14 goals per game in 2023-24, but this has been a historically favorable matchup for the Penguins, with the team winning 22 of the last 30 home contests against Buffalo.

Tristan Jarry Listed As Day-To-Day Following Collision Tuesday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is still being evaluated and is listed as day-to-day after leaving Tuesday night's contest against the Anaheim Ducks early following a collision with Ducks forward Adam Henrique. "There is no real update. He's continuing to be evaluated right now. I would say his status is day to day," Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan told the media on Wednesday afternoon. He was credited with Tuesday's win as he turned aside all 21 shots he faced in the eventual 2-0 victory despite playing just 38:15 of the contest. It's been a solid season for the 28-year-old who owns a 2.51 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage across nine starts, going 4-5-0 in the process. Magnus Hellberg should see the bulk of playing time in Jarry's absence.

Tristan Jarry Being Evaluated For Head Injury

Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry (head) left Tuesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks and will be evaluated for a head injury. Adam Henrique collided with Jarry's head in the second period, and Magnus Hellberg had to take over for him. If Jarry has to miss time, Hellberg would likely see the majority of starts with Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body) also out. Hellberg is a significant downgrade over Jarry, and the Penguins don't appear to be the same team they have been over the last 15 years, so he can be left on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues. He will have streaming appeal when he has a good matchup, however.

Tristan Jarry Registers First Shutout Of The Season

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry needed to make only 19 saves to register his first shutout of the season on Friday as his squad crushed the Capitals 4-0. It marks the 14th career shutout for Jarry, and he now boasts 118 wins with the Penguins, taking over sole possession of the third spot on the franchise's record books. Jarry needed 11 outings to get his first shutout during an inconsistent campaign last term and finished with only two for the entire season. The Penguins will have a great chance to return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2024 if their masked man ups his form from last year.

Tristan Jarry Minding The Crease Against Blackhawks

Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry is starting in the crease Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks. In his last outing, Jarry picked up his second consecutive win by stopping 19 out of 20 shots, resulting in a win against the Detroit Red Wings. Despite injuries throughout the season, Jarry has been solid for the Penguins with a 24-12-6 record, a 2.89 goals-against-average, and a .910 save percentage. Jarry will face the struggling Blackhawks, who have lost 11 out of their last 12 games, including three in a row.

Tristan Jarry Picks Up Win Against Wild

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 27-of-28 shots on goal in Thursday's 4-1 victory against the Wild. Jarry bounced back from two consecutive disappointing starts, where the Penguins number one goaltender allowed nine goals in losses to the Bruins and Devils. Jarry had a great performance at the most important time as he allowed the only goal of the contest to Wild forward Marcus Johansson on a power play in the third period. Although Jarry has struggled throughout the season with his highest goals against average (2.94) and lowest save percentage (.909) over the past four seasons in an increased workload, the 27-year-old will play a very important role in the Penguins push for a wild card spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Tristan Jarry Gets The Nod For Penguins

Pittsburgh Penguins netminder Tristan Jarry will be between the pipes Tuesday versus the New Jersey Devils. Jarry lost his last start on April 1st against Boston allowing four goals on 35 Boston shots. Jarry has had an injury-filled season. When he has been healthy, Jarry has posted a 22-11-6 record, a .909 save percentage, and a 2.93 goals-against-average. The Devils will likely start Vitek Vanecek, who is 1-3-1 in his last five starts.

Tristan Jarry Records His Second Shutout

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry posted his second shutout of the season Thursday, stopping 28 shots in a 2-0 victory over the Predators. Jason Zucker and Jake Guentzel provided the offense. Jarry now finally has back-to-back regulation wins for the first time since December. He's been battling injury and poor form over the latter half of the season. Thursday marked only the 41st start of the season for Jarry, who improved to 22-10-6. He is giving up nearly three goals per game (2.90) with a .910 save percentage.

Tristan Jarry Starting Thursday For Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry ended his team's three-game losing streak by making 28 saves on 30 shots against the Colorado Avalanche in his last start. Although the 27-year-old has had a rollercoaster season, his record of 21-10-6, .908 save percentage, and 2.98 goals-against average still makes him a valuable player for his team. In his upcoming game, he will face the Nashville Predators, who have won three of their last five games, including a recent 2-1 victory against the Boston Bruins.

Tristan Jarry Tries To Bounce Back Against Ottawa

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry will hope to put a stop to a three-game losing run in Monday's matchup against Ottawa. He has allowed a whopping 11 goals in the three contests and clearly needs to do a lot better for the team to reach its goals for the season. The recent run of poor form has dropped Jarry's record for the season to 20-9-6, and he boasts a 3.03 goals-against average with a .907 save percentage and one shutout. The Penguins No. 1 is currently a risky choice for fantasy managers, especially with the team missing multiple top-four defensemen.

Tristan Jarry Guarding The Cage Versus Columbus

Tristan Jarry, goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins, will start Tuesday against Columbus. He secured his third consecutive win by stopping 27 out of 31 shots against Tampa Bay during his last game on March 2nd. Jarry, who is 27 years old, when healthy, has been excellent this season, posting a 19-7-5 record, a 2.77 goals-against-average, and a .916 save percentage. He will face the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have lost three of their last four games and rank 30th in the NHL for goals per game at 2.57.

Tristan Jarry Not Feeling Well Enough To Start Saturday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry will dress only as the backup Saturday versus Florida because he woke up not feeling well. This is quite a blow for the playoff-chasing Penguins, who have gotten 19 wins from 32 starts from their No. 1 but only 11 wins in 27 starts from Casey DeSmith. DeSmith has allowed nine goals in his last three starts alone and has a pretty poor 3.27 goals-against average for the season with a .904 save percentage. The Panthers haven't done too well lately, but they will get back a couple of key guys on Saturday and it's set to be a very tough game for Pittsburgh.

Tristan Jarry Back For Penguins Monday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry (upper body) will return to the crease for Monday's matchup against the Islanders. He hasn't played due to an upper-body injury since dropping a tight one 2-1 in overtime to New Jersey on Jan. 22. Jarry had a nightmare in his only previous appearance against the Islanders this season when he gave up five goals on 42 shots, but he has mostly been in top form, producing a 16-5-0 record with a 2.65 goals-against average, a .921 save percentage and one shutout. The Islanders have won six of the last eight head-to-head meetings, but Mathew Barzal's (lower body) absence is set to make it a lot tougher for them Monday.

Tristan Jarry Remains Unavailable Tuesday

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry (upper body) continues to work his way back from injury and still needs more time to recover as the team gets set to resume the season Tuesday versus Colorado. The Penguins No. 1 has been unavailable for 10 of the last 12 games. Jarry's continued absence means another start for Casey DeSmith against the Avalanche. He's been having a rough season in 2022-23, going 7-10-4 with a 3.35 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. DeSmith has given up at least five goals in three of his last four starts.
