Tyler Seguin Expected Back Versus Blackhawks

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) is expected to rejoin the lineup for Thursday's tilt against Chicago. The veteran was unavailable for the previous game against Florida. Unfortunately, it looks like we might often see a Seguin-less Stars in this campaign because it has been reported that he's dealing with a lingering lower-body injury. He has been absent for four games already. With that said, Seguin has been very productive when he has played, scoring five goals and amassing nine points in seven appearances. He's projected to skate with Sam Steel and Matt Duchene on the third line versus the Blackhawks, who allow the tenth-most shots on goal in the league (30.4).

Tyler Seguin Day-To-Day With A Lower-Body Injury

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) is considered day-to-day. After scoring and logging 16:46 of ice time in Friday's 6-4 loss to Florida, Seguin sat out Saturday's rematch between the teams in Finland. It's the second time Seguin has landed on the shelf this season with a lower-body injury. He missed three games the first time he was out. When he's been in the lineup, the veteran has been productive, logging five goals and nine points in seven appearances. Mavrik Bourque moved up in the lineup during Seguin's absence on Saturday. After scoring his first career goal on Friday, Bourque couldn't make a mark in Saturday's game.

Tyler Seguin Turns Back The Clock With Three-Point Effort

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin reminded everybody how good he can be on Thursday, completing a revenge game against the Bruins with three points. The Stars rocked the Bruins in Boston with a 5-2 victory, and Seguin had one goal and two assists against his former team. He finished off a flurry of three power-play goals for the Stars in the second period, and Matt Duchene benefited from his passing, along with Roope Hintz, who struck an empty-net goal. Following a three-game spell on the sidelines due to a lower-body injury, Seguin rejoined the lineup earlier in the week and has scored in back-to-back games. Aside from the injury concern, Seguin has had an excellent start to the season, recording four goals and seven points in five games.

Tyler Seguin Will Not Play On Saturday

Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin (lower body) will not play on Saturday, according to Lia Assimakopoulos of the Dallas News. The 32-year-old has been sidelined for the past two games and will now miss his third straight with a lower-body injury. During his first three games, the veteran tallied three points (two goals, one assist) with four shots and one blocked shot. Mavrik Bourque has replaced Seguin in the starting lineup and should continue to be penciled in on the third line for now. 35-year-old Evgenii Dadonov was given the nod to replace Seguin's spot on the second power-play unit over the past two games and should continue to do so, which makes him an intriguing sleeper pick in DFS formats.

Tyler Seguin Sits Out Second Consecutive Game

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) will be absent for a second consecutive game on Thursday versus Washington. He's battling a lower-body injury and will get his next opportunity to return on Saturday against Edmonton. Seguin landed on the shelf after enjoying an excellent start to the season. He posted two goals and one assist across the first three games of the campaign. Seguin's absence has boosted Evgenii Dadonov's fantasy value, as the Russian winger joined the second power-play unit on Tuesday versus San Jose while skating on the second line. However, the veteran forward has struggled offensively so far, going scoreless in four games with 11 shots.

Tyler Seguin Sits Out Tuesday's Action

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) will not be in the lineup against San Jose on Tuesday. According to Stars head coach Peter DeBoer, Seguin tweaked "something" and is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury. DeBoer also suggested that Seguin might play if it was a playoff game, so it looks like the veteran is only dealing with a minor issue. However, the team doesn't want to take any risks with Seguin early in the campaign. The six-time All-Star has enjoyed a fine start to the year, sitting on two goals and one assist with three games played. Mavrik Bourque (undisclosed) will replace Seguin in the lineup on Tuesday.

Tyler Seguin Good To Go Friday

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) will play in Game 6 against Colorado on Friday. He suffered an apparent lower-body injury late in Game 5, but it looks like it wasn't anything serious. Seguin saw a three-game point streak end in Game 5. He has amassed seven points (three goals, four assists) in 12 games this postseason. The veteran is definitely capable of being more productive. But following Matt Duchene's move to the first line to replace Roope Hintz (upper body), Seguin has less talent to work with on his line, with Mason Marchment and Evgenii Dadonov next to him.

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin lit the lamp twice to give the team a 4-1 win and a 2-1 series lead against the Avalanche on Saturday. The veteran popped up with the eventual game-winner late in the second period and added a second inside the final two minutes with the Colorado net empty. Tyler Seguin Lifts Stars To Game 3 Win With Two Goals

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin had a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche in Game 3 of their second-round series. Seguin scored the eventual game-winner late in the second period and then sealed the game with an empty-netter in the third. The 32-year-old veteran has played a nice depth role for the Stars during their postseason run, posting six points (three goals, three assists) in 10 games. This kind of spread-out scoring is exactly what makes Dallas such a dangerous team to play, as anyone can have a big game and lead them to victory.

Tyler Seguin May Sit Out Saturday

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin may come out of the lineup for rest when the team takes on the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday. Seguin suffered an upper-body injury on Feb. 22 and missed the team's next 11 games. He could come out to manage his workload as the Western Conference-leading Stars look to embark on a deep postseason run. "Depending on how he's feeling, obviously back to backs you have to think about whether you want to play him."
