The 29-year-old southpaw had a 4.00 ERA (3.14 FIP) and 0.89 WHIP with 10 strikeouts and two walks in just nine relief innings for the Milwaukee Brewers and Astros in 2023 before having surgery early last season. He's no lock to make the big-league roster out of spring training this year and will likely be hurt by the fact that he has minor-league options remaining. Expect Sousa to open the 2025 regular season with Triple-A Sugar Land.
