Caleb Thielbar News
Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Caleb Thielbar picked up his first win of the season in Wednesday's victory over the Seattle Mariners. Thielbar was quite effective in his first appearance since being activated off the injured list, as he pitched two scoreless frames while fanning four batters. The veteran righty improved his season ERA to 4.30, though Statcast believes it's largely been earned due to a lot of hard contact allowed. Thielbar can be ignored in fantasy formats because of that, despite his strong 34.7 percent strikeout rate.
Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Caleb Thielbar (groin) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. The veteran relief pitcher suffered a groin strain while pitching on Wednesday. It sounds like he'll likely be sidelined for a few weeks. The Twins have recalled right-hander Shaun Anderson to take his spot on the active roster. Anderson pitched well in a short stint with the Twins last season. However, he'll likely be pitching in low leverage situations, so there won't be much fantasy value here.
Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Caleb Thielbar (groin) was forced to exit early during Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. He exited the game with the help of Twins assistant athletic trainer Matt Biancuzzo mid-way through the seventh inning. Alex Colome subbed into the game to record the final out of the inning. The organization has not given details on Thielbar's injury. He has been a fairly reliable option out of the Twins bullpen, but doesn't offer much fantasy value.
