Jack Hurley Swinging A Hot Bat At High-A

Arizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Jack Hurley has been swinging a hot bat over the past week at High-A. In his past seven games, the 22-year-old has posted a strong .375/.464/.750 line with two home runs, six RBI, one stolen base, and a 2:5 BB:K ratio. This is a great sign as Hurley has struggled through the early part of the season as he still holds an underwhelming .235/.305/.429 line. Hurley got a small taste of High-A ball late last summer and performed well in the 20-game sample size with a .293 AVG. MLB Pipeline projects Hurley to reach the major leagues sometime in 2026, which suggests that he might spend the majority of this season with High-A. However, if he happens to be promoted to Double-A during the second half of the season, it could open the door for a 2025 major league debut.

Jack Hurley Continues Hot Stretch

Arizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Jack Hurley went 3-for-5 at the plate on Thursday with a home run. Hurley got off a slow start at High-A through April but has put all those doubts to rest this month. Through the start of May, the 22-year-old has posted a .298/.370/.638 slash line compared to his .185/.264/.277 line through April. Thursday was Hurley's fifth multi-hit game of the month, and he has tallied all four of his long balls during this month. MLB Pipeline projects Hurley to reach the major leagues in 2026, but dynasty managers should continue to monitor him, as he could see time in Double-A later this summer.
