Stephenson, the clubs No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline, and Garcia, No. 6, will both enter Spring Training with the chance to break camp with the club. Stephensons path to playing time is muddled by the duo of Tucker Barnhart and Curt Casali, who figure to share catching duties. Garcia has the inside track at the starting job as of now, but the Reds may be active either in the free-agent (Didi Gregorius) or trade (Francisco Lindor) market to acquire an established shortstop.
