Leandro Arias Tallies Three Hits, Five RBI On Wednesday
Baltimore Orioles second base prospect Leandro Arias enjoyed a big day at the plate on Wednesday as he went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI. Hopefully, this breakout game can get the 19-year-old back on track, as he held a poor .091/.281/.091 line through the first 14 games of the month. Overall, Arias has been unable to find much consistency in his first season at Single-A, with a .216/.327/.322 slash line and just three home runs. However, he does hold a solid 26:36 BB:K ratio. Arias will likely spend the remainder of the summer at Single-A Delmarva and could earn a promotion to High-A next season.
