Logan Webb Pitches Well on Thursday

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb looked sharp on the mound once again during Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs. The right-hander entered this game on a hot stretch with one earned run allowed or less in four of his last five starts. Webb tossed seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out seven batters in the no-decision on Thursday. He gave up quite a few hits in this one, but didn't allow any damage after an Ian Happ RBI single in the first inning. Webb will take a 3.19 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and a 187/37 K/BB ratio into his next start versus the Colorado Rockies. It's worth noting that he'll be pitching in Coors Field, so his fantasy value will take a hit.

Logan Webb Punches Out Nine in Victory

San Francisco Giants ace Logan Webb stymied the Cleveland Guardians' offense in a 2-1 victory on Thursday. Webb improved to 7-5 after allowing one run on seven hits with nine strikeouts and no walks over seven innings. The right-hander has tallied five straight quality starts and has given up a meager eight earned runs with an astounding 40:4 K:BB in that 34-inning stretch. Overall, Webb has recorded a career-best 2.49 ERA (2.21 FIP) with 114 punchouts and 20 walks across 101 1/3 frames. He'll have a good chance to keep cruising along with a start against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.

Logan Webb Limits Dodgers to Two Hits in Win

San Francisco Giants pitcher Logan Webb held the Dodgers to two runs in seven innings of work on Friday, allowing two hits (one home run) and three walks while striking out four batters on the way to picking up his sixth win of the season in the 6-2 victory over Los Angeles. It was also the righty's 11th quality start of the year, which is tied for the most in the majors. All in all, the 28-year-old owns a 2.58 ERA (2.34 FIP), 1.12 WHIP, and a strong 22.4 percent K-BB%. His next start lines up with Cleveland next Thursday in San Francisco, a team with the seventh-fewest runs per game average so far this season.

Logan Webb Fans 10 on Saturday

San Francisco Giants right-hander Logan Webb logged yet another start with double-digit strikeouts in a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Braves on Saturday. Webb didn't factor into the decision, but he tossed six innings of two-run, six-hit ball with 10 strikeouts and no walks before exiting. It was the fourth start of 10 or more strikeouts this year for Webb, who's on track for a career campaign in the K department. The 28-year-old now boasts a tremendous 101:17 K:BB and an excellent 2.58 ERA through 87 1/3 innings. Webb has a tough matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, but he's a must-start for fantasy managers whenever he takes the mound.

Logan Webb Pitches Eight Scoreless Innings in Monday's No-Decision

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb turned in an excellent start but came away with a no-decision in Monday's 1-0 extra-inning loss to the Padres. Webb turned in eight scoreless innings, allowing six hits and no walks with seven strikeouts. He also hit a batter. Unfortunately, the Giants were unable to provide any run support for the 28-year-old. Webb has had a career season to this point, going 5-5 with a 2.55 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and a 10.07 K/9 rate in 13 starts and 81 1/3 IP. He has seen a significant uptick in his strikeouts, with his 91 punchouts currently fifth most in all of baseball. He will look to keep that trend going in his next scheduled start, which will be a decent matchup against the Braves.

Logan Webb Punches Out 10 in Loss to Tigers

San Francisco Giants right-hander Logan Webb (5-5) struck out 10 Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory. Instead, Webb suffered his fifth loss of the season after giving up three earned runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. Webb allowed all of those runs in the first three innings before taming the Tigers' offense for the rest of his night to secure his eighth quality start of 2025. The 28-year-old has now piled up 10 or more strikeouts in three starts this season. Overall, Webb has recorded a superb 2.82 ERA with even better underlying metrics (2.18 FIP, 2.27 xFIP) and 84:17 K:BB over 73 1/3 frames. He'll head back to San Francisco to face the division-rival San Diego Padres on Monday.

Logan Webb Takes Tough-Luck Loss To Twins

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb allowed five hits and two earned runs over seven innings in his team's 2-1 road loss to the Minnesota Twins. The 28-year-old walked one and struck out nine, falling to 4-3 on the season. The lone blemish against Webb came in the bottom of the third inning when designated hitter Trevor Larnach launched a two-run homer off him. He was excellent for the second straight start, but Twins pitcher Joe Ryan was equally as good and able to out-duel him. The former fourth-round pick has been stellar thus far, letting up three or fewer runs in all but one of his nine starts. He'll bolster a strong 2.60 ERA and 1.16 WHIP (65:14 K:BB) into his next start against the Athletics at home.

Logan Webb Rebounds With Fourth Victory

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb fired seven innings of one-run ball in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Colorado Rockies, improving to 4-2 on the season. The former fourth-round pick allowed six hits, walking two batters, and striking out six. Webb was excellent through the first four innings but found trouble in the fifth when Jacob Stallings pushed across Mickey Moniak after the latter tripled in the at-bat before. However, that would be the lone tally against him as the 28-year-old cruised through the subsequent two frames, ultimately getting pulled after 96 pitches (66 strikes). It's a nice rebound for him after allowing five earned runs over five innings in his last outing against the Padres. He'll bring a 2.61 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with a 56:13 K:BB ratio (48 1/3 innings) into his next start, which should come next weekend against the Minnesota Twins on the road.

Logan Webb Works Six Scoreless Innings In Giants Win

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb went 6 1/3 innings on Wednesday against the Brewers and had six strikeouts with six hits allowed. He threw 106 pitches and left with a 4-0 lead. The bullpen didn't allow the two inherited runners to score, but they did give up a couple of runs in the ninth inning to make the final score 4-2. Webb's win boosts him to 3-1 in his six starts this season with an exceptional 1.98 ERA, 1.79 FIP, and 44 strikeouts in 36 1/3 innings. He has been a true ace for the Giants' staff and helped fuel their 16-9 start. His next outing is scheduled for next Tuesday on the road in a tough divisional matchup against the Padres.

Logan Webb Fans 12 In Tough-Luck Loss

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb was brilliant in defeat on Friday, allowing one run over six innings in a tough 2-0 loss against the Los Angeles Angels. Webb struck out 12 while allowing just four hits and walking none in this one. His changeup was electric in this one, generating 11 whiffs on 14 swings. The 28-year-old has been excellent this season, pitching to a 2.40 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with 38 strikeouts in 30 IP. While his numbers will likely regress a bit, it looks like Webb will once again be a stable rotation piece in fantasy that provides good ratios and strikeouts.
