Tyler Schweitzer Joins White Sox's Top-30 Prospect List
Chicago White Sox pitching prospect Tyler Schweitzer has moved into the organization's top 30 prospect list following the graduation of Jonathan Cannon. The 23-year-old left-hander is 5-5 this season across High-A and Double-A with a 3.84 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. Since his promotion to Double-A Birmingham, Schweitzer is 2-2 with a 4.00 ERA in five starts. Now ranked the No. 28 prospect of the White Sox, the Ball State product could help the team in the major leagues within a year or so if he continues to progress.
