Tristan Peters has Interesting Deep-League Value

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters has come out of nowhere and put together an excellent season in 2026. The 26-year-old earned himself a selection to the All-Star Game during his rookie season. Through 103 games, Peters is slashing .272/.328/.428 with six home runs, 37 RBI, and five stolen bases. It has been a slow start for Peters out of the break, but he'll hopefully turn it around soon. This slump might've put Peters on the waiver wire in some leagues. Fantasy managers in deep leagues seeking outfield help should consider scooping up Peters. He has shown the ability to contribute in multiple ways and could be a useful option in deeper leagues down the stretch of the season.

Tristan Peters Carries Deep-League Waiver-Wire Appeal

Across 291 plate appearances this season, Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters is hitting .292/.341/.462 with six home runs, 37 RBI, 38 runs scored, and five stolen bases. The 26-year-old does not profile as a plus source of power for fantasy managers, as he's posted just a 4.7% barrel rate and a 30.5% hard-hit rate. The lefty-swinging Peters' playing time this season has also largely been limited to big-side platoon duties, which puts a ceiling on his production upside. Still, Peters has been a quality source of batting average, and his presence in the stellar White Sox lineup allows him to rack up counting stats at a decent rate despite his lack of an everyday role. In deeper league formats, Peters could be worth targeting on the waiver wire.

Tristan Peters Worth Waiver Attention After Hitting for the Cycle?

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters became the third player in baseball in the first half of the 2026 season to hit for the cycle last Friday against the Athletics. The 26-year-old Canadian finished went into this week's All-Star break with an impressive .301/.354/.478 slash line with an .832 OPS, six home runs, 36 RBI, 37 runs scored, and five stolen bases in 91 games across 275 plate appearances as an All-Star in his first full year in the majors with the White Sox. Peters debuted in the big leagues last year but played in only four games with the Tampa Bay Rays. The former seventh-round pick by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2021 out of Southern Illinois University Carbondale got off to a scorching start in July, going 13-for-32 (.406) with two homers, three doubles, a triple, six RBI, and six runs scored in 11 games to begin the month. Fantasy managers who have Peters rostered in deeper leagues will be hoping he can stay hot after the All-Star break, but his .260 expected batting average and .308 xwOBA predict serious regression coming for the Canadian outfielder. Despite his strong first half and beginning of July, Peters is rostered in less than 10% of Yahoo leagues.

Tristan Peters Hits for the Cycle

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters accomplished history during Friday's contest against the Athletics. Peters became the seventh player in franchise history to hit for the cycle. He started off the fun with a double in the third inning. Peters singled in the fifth inning, which left the two most difficult tasks still on the board. He was able to hit a triple and a home run in the same inning as the White Sox piled up seven runs in the seventh inning during Friday's 14-1 blowout. Peters became the third player to hit for the cycle, joining Bryce Harper and Pete Crow-Armstrong. He also becomes the first White Sox player to do it since Jose Abreu in 2017.

Tristan Peters Continues Breakout, Emerging as Strong Waiver-Wire Add

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters continues to impress during his first season with the club, emerging as an intriguing waiver wire target in fantasy leagues. The 25-year-old is slashing .291/.347/.451 with a .798 OPS and five home runs across 86 games. He has been even better recently, hitting .314 with a .510 slugging percentage over his last 15 games while earning everyday playing time for the surging White Sox. Peters has provided consistent production at the plate and continues to create value with his all-around game. His 98th percentile fielding range should help keep him in the lineup on a regular basis. Fantasy managers looking for a productive outfielder should consider adding Peters before his roster percentage climbs.

Tristan Peters Breaks Out With Six RBI in Rout Over Royals

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters had a big game in Friday night's 22-1 drubbing of the division-rival Kansas City Royals, going 2-for-5 at the plate with a career-high six RBI, three runs scored, and a walk to improve his season batting average to .289 and his OPS to .804. Most of Peters' damage came on a grand slam in the sixth inning. The 26-year-old has definitely been heating up with the weather, as he's hitting .288 with 16 RBI and 10 runs scored in 10 games during the month for the Pale Hose. The left-handed-hitting Canadian lacks a ton of fantasy upside as a platoon outfielder for the ChiSox, but he has hit a strong .289/.351/.453 with four long balls, 30 RBI, 28 runs scored, and four stolen bases in 226 plate appearances in 2026 in his first year in Chicago and second in the major leagues. Coming into Friday's contest, Peters was hitting .310 (54-for-174) with all three of his home runs against right-handed pitchers. He has just two hits in 25 plate appearances against southpaws, though.
