Atlanta Hawks guard Kobe Bufkin appears to be extremely highly rated by the franchise, as Michael Scotto of HoopsHype has reported that the Hawks didn't want to include the 19-year-old rookie in a potential deal to acquire Pascal Siakam from Toronto. The Raptors appear to have some Bufkin fas as well, with Scotto adding that the club considered drafting the Michigan product with the No. 13 pick before settling for Gradey Dick. Bufkin ended up going to Atlanta with the 15th pick, and he looks like an exciting addition to the Hawks' backcourt, although the young guard struggled massively in Summer League games. Across five appearances, Bufkin led the team with 14.0 points per game, but he shot below 15 percent from downtown with nearly six attempts per game and hit 33.3 percent overall from the field.
