  • Devonta Freeman A Must-Start in Week 15

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman had a great game versus the Saints last week, rushing 24 times for 91 yards and one touchdown. Freeman's performance was a true return to his workhorse form and was welcomed by his fantasy owners. Freeman's next game will be on Monday night versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are currently allowing 24.8 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Freeman missed the team's Week 12 matchup versus the Buccaneers due to injury. Fellow  running back Tevin Coleman rushed 19 times for 97 yards and two rushing touchdowns in his stead. With that amount of volume, Freeman, who is every bit as dangerous as Coleman if not more so, should have no problems producing a solid fantasy performance this week, making him an excellent start for Week 15.

  • Devonta Freeman Rushes for 91 Yards and One Touchdown

After a relatively quiet outing versus the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons' running back Devonta Freeman exploded against the New Orleans Saints, rushing 24 times for 91 yards and a touchdown. Freeman seemed to find room to run at will against the Saints, and he was rewarded with 15 more carries than Falcons' second string running back Tevin Coleman. The Saints' defense entered the game ranked ninth in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and while they contained Freeman, he still found room to work all night. Freeman and the Falcons will be travelling to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Monday, giving them 11 days to rest and recover after playing the short week.

  • Devonta Freeman A Solid Start for Week 14

Last week, Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman returned from injury to amass 74 yards on 12 carries for a healthy 6.2 yards per carry. Freeman's performance was especially impressive considering it was versus the Minnesota Vikings and their top-ranked rushing defense. Freeman wasn't able to find his way into the end zone, which hurt his day fantasy-wise. That should change this week with Freeman and the Falcons playing host to the New Orleans Saints, a team that is currently ranked a much more friendly No. 17 versus the run. Last season, Freeman gouged the Saints both times they faced each other, and while the Saints defense has improved, Freeman is hard to contain when he's healthy. The Saints will have their hands full with both Freeman and backfield mate Tevin Coleman. Freeman gets the majority of the carries for the Falcons, especially in the red zone, and those opportunities will equal paydirt this week.
