The Green Bay Packers are re-signing cornerback/return specialist Keisean Nixon to a three-year, $18 million deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Nixon has earned first-team All-Pro honors for his work as a kick returner. In 2023, Nixon led the NFL in kick return yards (782) and returns of at least 20 yards (26). He also had the most productive season of his career on defense in 2023, racking up 80 tackles, half a sack, and one interception.
The Green Bay Packers signed former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Keisean Nixon to an undisclosed deal on Friday, according to a source. Nixon has played all three of his seasons in the NFL with the Raiders and has mostly been a special teams contributor, totaling 38 tackles (28 solo) and one pass defensed in 40 games (two starts). The 24-year-old will follow special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia from Las Vegas to Green Bay. In 11 games (one start) for the Raiders last year, Nixon had 12 tackles (seven solo), putting him well off the IDP radar.
