A.J. Greer Returns to Panthers Lineup Monday

Florida Panthers left wing A.J. Greer (lower body) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Edmonton Oilers. Greer's return will push Jesper Boqvist out of the lineup. In the 2025 playoffs, Greer has formed an impactful fourth line with Jonah Gadjovich and Tomas Nosek. He has scored two goals and three points in 12 appearances while averaging 3.75 hits per game. The Panthers have lost only two postseason games this year with Greer in the lineup, making the 28-year-old somewhat of a talisman for the team despite his limited role.

A.J. Greer Remains Out Friday

Florida Panthers left wing A.J. Greer (lower body) has been ruled out for Friday's Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Edmonton Oilers. The fourth-line grinder was injured late in the Eastern Conference Finals and must wait for his chance to play against the Oilers due to a lower-body injury. Jesper Boqvist is expected to continue filling in for Greer. The Swedish forward experienced some success in a top-line role earlier in the postseason but was quiet on the fourth line in Game 1 against Edmonton. He logged 7:58 of ice time, finishing with one hit.

A.J. Greer Out for Wednesday's Game 1

Florida Panthers left wing A.J. Greer (lower body) won't be in the lineup for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday. He suffered a lower-body injury in the last game of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 28. The team was hopeful of having Greer available for the Finals opener, but the game comes too soon for him. Jesper Boqvist is set to enter the lineup in Greer's place. The Swedish forward has had a couple of brilliant performances this postseason, including a three-point effort in Game 3 of the East Final. Overall, he has posted five points (two goals, three assists) in 11 outings in the playoffs, while averaging 3.4 hits per game.

A.J. Greer Questionable for Start of Stanley Cup Finals

Florida Panthers left wing A.J. Greer (lower body) is questionable for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Wednesday. He sustained a lower-body injury in Game 5 against the Carolina Hurricanes and missed Saturday's practice. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice labeled Greer as day-to-day on Saturday. In the playoffs, Greer has averaged nearly four hits per game while contributing two goals and one assist in 12 appearances. Nico Sturm, Jesper Boqvist, and Mackie Samoskevich are in contention to join the lineup if Greer is declared unfit to play in the Finals opener next week.

A.J. Greer Available for Game 5 Against Hurricanes

Florida Panthers left wing A.J. Greer (undisclosed) is ready to return from a one-game absence on Wednesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. He was banged up late in Game 3 of the series on Saturday and sat out Monday's Game 4 as a result. Greer is expected to replace Nico Sturm on the fourth line. While he averages only 8:05 of ice time, Greer has chipped in with two goals and one assist in this year's playoffs. He has formed an effective fourth line with Tomas Nosek and Jonah Gadjovich, averaging one shot on goal and four hits per game.

A.J. Greer Unavailable Monday

Florida Panthers left wing A.J. Greer (undisclosed) will miss Monday's Game 4 against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 28-year-old was injured late in Saturday's Game 3 victory. Greer was initially expected to be fine for Monday's matchup, but he will skip at least one game due to an undisclosed injury. As a fourth-line grinder, Greer has recorded three points (two goals, one assist) and 44 hits in 11 postseason outings. In his absence, Nico Sturm will make his eighth appearance in these playoffs. Compared to Greer, Sturm has been much less impactful, going scoreless and averaging under two hits per game.
