Connor Brown Out on Thursday

New Jersey Devils right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) will remain out on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens. Initially, he was regarded as questionable for the contest. Brown, who sits on six points (five goals, one assist) through 11 appearances in 2025-26, will be absent for a third consecutive game. Brian Halonen has been filling in for him, but he is expected to sit as a healthy scratch on Thursday night. Brown appears to be close to returning and will have his next chance to rejoin the lineup on Saturday, when the Devils host the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Connor Brown Won't Play on Saturday

New Jersey Devils right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) will exit the lineup on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports. He was initially considered questionable for the game. In 11 outings this season, Brown has contributed five goals and one assist. His exit from the lineup will give Brian Halonen a chance to play. Brown's ailment doesn't appear to be too serious, so it's possible that he can hop back into the lineup on Sunday, when the Devils complete a back-to-back against the Anaheim Ducks.

Connor Brown Considered Questionable for Saturday

New Jersey Devils right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) is questionable for Saturday's meeting with the Los Angeles Kings, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports. The 31-year-old didn't practice on Friday. So far this season, Brown has featured in all 11 games, scoring five times and delivering one assist. Only Jack Hughes (9) and Dawson Mercer (6) have more goals for the Devils this season. If Brown has to miss time, Brian Halonen will probably replace him in the lineup. Halonen is a fourth-line bruiser who has registered 17 hits in seven games with no points, and fantasy managers shouldn't target him.

Connor Brown Ready to Go Wednesday

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (illness) is on track to play in Game 1 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night. Brown missed the last two games in the Western Conference Finals due to an undisclosed injury. He has shaken off the ailment, but Brown's status for Wednesday's game was initially in doubt after an illness forced him to miss Tuesday's practice. Following Wednesday's morning skate, Brown declared that he will be good to go for Game 1. "I feel good," Brown said. "I took a little maintenance day yesterday, but I'm ready to go. I feel excited." Brown, who has eight points (five goals, three assists) in 14 postseason appearances, is expected to replace Jeff Skinner in the lineup. He will join Adam Henrique and Trent Frederic on the third line.

Connor Brown Good to Go for Game 1 Against Panthers

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) is expected to rejoin the lineup for Game 1 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday. The 31-year-old was unavailable for the final two games of the team's 4-1 triumph in the Western Conference Finals versus the Dallas Stars. However, he returned to practice on Sunday and appears to be ready to go for the Finals. Brown has offered solid production from the third line this postseason, scoring five goals and eight points in 14 games. Due to the absence of Zach Hyman (upper body), Brown may be in contention for a top-six role.

Connor Brown to Miss Second Consecutive Game

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) will miss a second consecutive game on Thursday against the Dallas Stars. Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters on Wednesday that Brown is "doing well" and there is hope that he can return soon. The 31-year-old has scored five goals and eight points in 14 playoff appearances. With Zach Hyman (upper body) also out, Knoblauch may bring Jeff Skinner back into the lineup. The veteran winger has not played since the postseason opener against the Los Angeles Kings. Another option is to go with seven defensemen, with Mattias Ekholm (undisclosed) finally available for selection.

Connor Brown Ruled Out for Tuesday

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Stars. He was injured on Sunday in Game 3 against Dallas, logging only 8:46 of ice time. While operating on the third line, Brown has produced five goals and three assists in 14 postseason appearances. Viktor Arvidsson and Jeff Skinner are the main candidates to take over his spot in the lineup for Tuesday night. Both players have endured challenging years and won't be expected to make a significant impact if Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch calls on either of them.

Connor Brown Suffers Injury in Game 3 Against Stars

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) saw his day at the office come to an early end in Sunday's Game 3 against the Dallas Stars. The 31-year-old left the contest in the second period after absorbing a hit from Stars defenseman Alexander Petrovic. Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch didn't have an update on Brown after the game. Brown has recently missed practices and was considered a game-time call for the Western Conference Finals opener on May 21. However, he hasn't sat out any games so far this season. Brown registered 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in 82 regular-season outings and has posted eight points (five goals, three assists) in 14 games during the playoffs. Viktor Arvidsson, who has been a healthy scratch for several games, may get an opportunity to re-enter the lineup if Brown has to skip Tuesday's Game 4.

Connor Brown Good to Go Friday

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) is expected to be in the lineup Friday night against the Dallas Stars. The veteran forward appears to be a bit banged up at the moment, missing practices and Friday's morning skate. Nevertheless, he will continue to skate on the third line in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. In Game 1, Brown logged 13:48 of ice time, including 2:48 of short-handed action. He blocked two shots in the contest but did not register any other stats. The 31-year-old has gone scoreless in four of the last five games, amassing seven points (four goals, three assists) in 12 playoff appearances overall.

Connor Brown Iffy for Wednesday

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) is considered a game-time call for Wednesday's Western Conference Finals opener against the Dallas Stars. He has missed practice time lately and did not skate on Wednesday morning, which suggests that Brown may not be healthy enough to play. However, the team has not ruled him out yet. The 31-year-old has had a decent postseason, chipping in with four goals and three assists in 11 games. If Brown is unable to play on Wednesday, the Oilers are likely to bring Viktor Arvidsson back into the lineup. Arvidsson has been sitting as a healthy scratch since Game 4 against the Vegas Golden Knights in the last round. He has managed one goal and three assists in nine outings this postseason.

Connor Brown Tallies Three Points In Series-Clincher

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown amassed three points in Thursday's 6-4 series-clinching win against the Los Angeles Kings. He delivered two assists before capping off the score with an empty-net goal. The veteran forward came alive at the perfect time for the Oilers. Brown also produced a two-goal performance in Game 3, but he didn't have any points in the rest of the games. It would be a good boost for the Oilers if they could get a bit more consistency from Brown, who will enter Round 2 with three goals and two assists for the postseason. He has recorded 10 shots and five hits, averaging 14:28 of ice time.

Connor Brown Takes Point Streak To Three Games

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown is riding a three-game point streak following Wednesday's 5-2 victory over Dallas. He extended his scoring run with an assist on Mattias Janmark's short-handed goal in the second period, which ended up being the game-winning marker. Brown had registered only one point in seven games this postseason before heating up in the Western Conference Final. He boasts one goal and three assists with six shots on goal, five blocks, five hits, and a plus-three rating through 10 appearances.

Connor Brown Expected Back On Saturday

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (groin) went through full practice on Friday and is on track to return to the lineup for Saturday's battle with the Lightning. He's been sidelined with a groin problem for six games. Brown has gone pointless in his first nine appearances as an Oiler, posting a minus-five rating. It's been an ugly start, but Edmonton has had a coaching change while he was on the shelf, and Kris Knoblauch has penciled in Brown for a top-line role on Saturday. Sam Gagner is dropping all the way down to the fourth line.

Connor Brown Exits With Injury

Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown appeared to have suffered a lower-body injury in Thursday's 4-3 loss to Dallas, exiting the game after logging only 6:25 of ice time. He had two shots on goal and carried an even rating before calling it a night. With Brown linking up with his former junior teammate Connor McDavid in Edmonton, there were quite high hopes for the 29-year-old this season, but it's gotten off to a bad start for Brown. He's gone pointless through nine games with a minus-five rating. A period on the shelf would be another setback for Brown. His exit from the lineup would open up a spot on the third line, and Brown has also been part of the second power-play unit.

Connor McDavid Sees Connor Brown As "Great" Fit For Oilers

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid is very excited to link up with Connor Brown, his former teammate from junior hockey. The two played together for the Erie Otters in the OHL and now find themselves back on the same team in the NHL after Edmonton signed Brown to a one-year, $4 million contract on July 1. "I think he's a great fit for the group," McDavid said this week. "I think he fits in perfectly in the room, on the ice, all that type of stuff." Brown has posted 216 points (90 goals, 126 assists) in 448 regular-season games, but he's been troubled by various injuries in recent seasons and was able to make just four appearances with Washington in 2022-23 because of a torn ACL. It might take a bit of time before he's back to his best again, but McDavid makes everybody around him better and Brown could be set for a big year if he can stick on the same line with his good friend.

Connor Brown Likely Out For The Season

Washington Capitals right wing Connor Brown has undergone reconstructive surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee, and he is set to miss six to eight months. Brown will sit out a seventh consecutive game Tuesday against Vegas and it sadly looks like he is done for the whole regular season. Washington had high hopes for him as Brown filled in for Tom Wilson (knee) on the top line at the start of the year, but he ended up going scoreless in four games before getting sidelined. Conor Sheary has taken over the right-wing spot on the first line, and he's been doing well, scoring four goals and recording three assists in 10 appearances this season.

Connor Brown Won't Play Against Montreal

Ottawa Senators winger Connor Brown has a nagging injury and won't play on Saturday against Montreal. The 28-year-old has been pretty ineffective as of late, so it's possible that he has carried the injury for quite a while. Brown boasts 10 goals and 39 points in 64 games for the season. He's been a regular in the top six and Brown's absence is set to open up minutes on a scoring line. Head coach D.J. Smith has yet to announce his lines for the game, so it remains to be seen who benefits from Brown's injury.

Connor Brown Gets His Fourth Goal Of The Season

Ottawa Senators winger Connor Brown scored his fourth goal of the season in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kings, finishing with three shots in total and two hits in nearly 22 minutes on the ice. Brown was one of the hottest goal-scorers in the league during the second half of last season, but he hasn't carried his form over to 2021-22. With that said, Brown has scored three of his goals in his past five appearances, so he's improved his sharpness in front of the net and could be ready to go on a goal-scoring surge.

Connor Brown Gets The Goals Flowing Again

Ottawa Senators winger Connor Brown, who had an eight-game goal streak cut a week ago, might've started a new one in Monday's 4-2 win over Calgary. He picked up his 15th marker of the campaign in the second period in a short-handed situation and added another one into an empty net to finish off the game. Josh Norris had a power-play goal and an assist in the game and Brady Tkachuk also scored. Brown has been among the deadliest goal-scorers in the league for nearly a month, with only Auston Matthews (12) and Brad Marchand (11) managing more goals since March 25. The 26-year-old can maintain his goal-scoring form during a four-game set against Vancouver which starts on Thursday. The Canucks are giving up a league-high 33 shots per game, and they are allowing over three goals a night (3.10).

Connor Brown Sees Goal Streak End Wednesday Night

Ottawa Senators winger Connor Brown finally had his goal streak cut in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Winnipeg, but he still extended his point streak with a power-play assist on Josh Norris' 12th goal of the campaign. Brown scored in eight straight games, setting a franchise record. His nine-game point streak marks the longest by a Senator since Mark Stone had a 10-game run in 2017-18. Brown boasts 14 goals and 25 for the season in 44 games with 95 shots and a minus-11 rating. He will try to match Stone's feat on Saturday versus Montreal. The 26-year-old had two of the goals during his streak against the Canadiens.
