Mark Jankowski Available Thursday

Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski (undisclosed) is available for Thursday's Game 2 against the Florida Panthers. Jankowski has not played since sustaining an undisclosed injury in Game 1 of the second-round series versus the Washington Capitals, missing five contests. He has been limited to three appearances this postseason, recording one assist, four shots, three blocks, and two hits. Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour has called Jankowski a "good option" for the team, and he could be a replacement in the lineup for Jesperi Kotkaniemi, who skated with the team's scratches on Thursday morning. Following a 33-point regular season campaign, Kotkaniemi had tallied only three assists in 11 playoff outings. Sitting out some action may help him reset.

Mark Jankowski Still Out Tuesday

Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski (undisclosed) will sit out a fifth consecutive contest on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. He suffered an undisclosed injury in Game 1 against the Washington Capitals in the second round of the playoffs. Jack Roslovic joined the lineup in Jankowski's place and made a strong impression in the last series. Roslovic has averaged a point per game over the past three contests, tallying four points (one goal, three assists) in seven games overall for the postseason. He will continue to work as the second-line center on Tuesday, flanked by Taylor Hall and Logan Stankoven.

Mark Jankowski Remains Out Saturday

Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski (undisclosed) will not play in Saturday's Game 3 against the Washington Capitals. On Friday, Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour announced that Jankowski is close to returning to the lineup, but he will miss at least one more game due to an undisclosed injury. Jack Roslovic will keep his spot in the lineup. This season, Roslovic turned heads with his goal-scoring ability early in the year, but he has struggled badly during the latter half of the campaign. In the playoffs, he has contributed one assist in four games, taking eight shots on goal.

Mark Jankowski May Return To Hurricanes Lineup Saturday

Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski (undisclosed) skated on Friday and could be an option for Saturday's Game 3 against the Washington Capitals. "I know he's close, that's for sure," Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour told reporters on Friday, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site. Jankowski has registered one assist, four shots, three blocks, and two hits in three postseason appearances. If Jankowski returns on Saturday, he will likely replace Jack Roslovic in the lineup. Roslovic took Jankowski's spot for Thursday's Game 2 against Washington but had little impact, recording one shot on goal in 14:40 of ice time.

Mark Jankowski To Be A Game-Time Call Thursday

Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's showdown against the Washington Capitals. The Hurricanes hope to have him available for Game 2 after losing him early to an undisclosed injury in Tuesday's series opener. Jankowski has made three postseason appearances this year, averaging 11:21 of ice time as a member of the fourth line. He has tallied one assist with four shots, three blocks, and two hits. Jack Roslovic, who has also posted one assist in three playoff appearances, or Tyson Jost, who has yet to feature in the postseason, will take Jankowski's spot in the lineup if he isn't in game shape on Thursday.

Mark Jankowski Suffers Injury In Game 1 Against Capitals

Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski (undisclosed) was forced to exit early in Game 1 against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night. He suffered an undisclosed injury in the second period, leaving the contest after logging only 6:17 of ice time. The 30-year-old made his third appearance of the 2025 postseason. Working as a fourth-line grinder, Jankowski does not play a big role in the team's offensive play and has been limited to one assist and four shots. Jack Roslovic and Tyson Jost are the most likely candidates to step in for Jankowski if he is not healthy enough to play in Game 2 on Thursday night.

Mark Jankowski Back For Predators On Saturday

Nashville Predators center Mark Jankowski (upper body) will be back in the lineup for Saturday's battle with Colorado. He was a late scratch for Thursday's game against Edmonton. Jankowski has a limited role with the Predators and shouldn't be expected to make an impact in fantasy hockey. Through nine outings this season, he has recorded one assist, 10 shots, two blocks, and four hits while logging 12:43 of ice time per game. Jankowski's return will result in Michael McCarron dropping out of the lineup.
