Robert Thomas Back For Blues Tuesday

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas (ankle) will re-enter the lineup on Tuesday against Minnesota. He's back after missing 12 games with a fractured ankle. Thomas picked up six points (one goal, five assists) in seven outings before landing on the shelf. The 25-year-old will resume his duties as the first-line center and will also join the first power-play unit. Thomas was held without a point by the Wild on Oct. 15, but he has amassed 16 points against them throughout his career -- it's his third-highest points tally against any opposition. As a result of Thomas' return, Mathieu Joseph will sit as a healthy scratch on Tuesday.

Robert Thomas To Miss At Least Six Weeks With Fractured Ankle

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas has been ruled out for at least six weeks with a fractured ankle. The team plans to re-evaluate him in six weeks after Thomas was injured while blocking a shot in Tuesday's matchup against Winnipeg. St. Louis also announced that Thomas has been placed on Injured Reserve. Thomas skates as the first-line center and will be a massive miss for the Blues, who are off to a good 4-3-0 start to the year. Brayden Schenn was moved to the first line in Wednesday's practice and should now play a more prominent role for the team until at least early December.

Robert Thomas Sustains A Lower-Body Injury

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Winnipeg. Thomas had his second multi-point night of the campaign with a pair of assists but was hurt when he blocked a shot. The severity of the injury is currently unclear. The Blues will start a four-game road trip on Thursday in Toronto and will be desperate to have Thomas available. The 25-year-old went scoreless in three games prior to Tuesday's outing, but he still sits among St. Louis' top scorers with six points (one goal, five assists) in seven games. Brayden Schenn will likely move into the top six if Thomas needs time off to heal. This would significantly increase his fantasy value.

Robert Thomas Hits 80-Point Mark In Sunday's Win

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas had one of his most prolific outings of the season versus Anaheim on Sunday, completing a 6-5 shootout victory with a goal and three assists. Half of the points came in power-play situations, including Thomas' 24th goal of the season. The 24-year-old has also registered 57 assists across 78 appearances to become only the second 80-point scorer for the Blues over the last 20 years. Following a spell of five points in 15 games, Thomas has heated up again ahead of the final few games of the season, upping his points tally in three straight appearances with a goal and six assists.

Robert Thomas Records Three Points In Victory

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas finished with a goal and two assists in Thursday's 6-3 victory against the Oilers. Thomas opened the scoring with an even-strength goal at the midway point of the opening period, while the 24-year-old added assists on power-play goals scored by forwards Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich in the second period. Thomas is enjoying a productive season as the Blues top-line center has scored 19 goals to go along with a team-high of 60 points through 53 games.

Robert Thomas Amasses Four Points In Sunday's Victory

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas matched his season high with a four-point effort on Sunday as the team picked apart the Canadiens 7-2. Thomas had one goal and three assists in the contest, posting three of his points on the power play. The first-year All-Star has been immense for the Blues as the team has climbed back into playoff contention. There's been only one pointless effort from Thomas in his past eight appearances, and he's had four multi-point performances during the stretch. The 24-year-old is dominating at the top of the Blues' scoring charts with 57 points (18 goals, 39 assists) in 51 games.

Robert Thomas Hits 30-Point Mark With Big Outing

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas led the way in Thursday's meeting with the Senators, recording two goals and an assist in a 4-2 win. Thomas put the Blues 2-0 up and logged an assist on Pavel Buchnevich's 10th goal of the season. This was his second game of the year with at least three points. Thomas has been in great form since the start of last month and now tops the charts in all major offensive categories for the Blues. He's had 30 points in 29 games, scoring 12 times and delivering 18 assists.

Robert Thomas Collects Two Points Against Stars

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas had a two-point outing against the Dallas Stars Wednesday in a 5-2 loss. He scored his 18th goal of the season and picked up a power-play marker on a Jakub Vrana tally. Injuries have forced Thomas to skip games regularly at the end of the season, but he has been performing well when in the lineup, notching five points in his past four appearances. The 23-year-old is set to be one of the leaders for the new-look Blues in the coming seasons and has already had a couple of good campaigns. With one more game to go in 2022-23, Thomas has 65 points in 72 games on his account.

Robert Thomas Could Be Back Saturday

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas (upper body) has joined the team for a trip to Minnesota and could return from a five-game absence Saturday. The 23-year-old has remained the team leader with 46 assists during his absence and boasts 63 points in 70 games overall. It's been a good season for Thomas, and he will hope to finish it off strongly in the final three games. Thomas should head straight back into the top six and the first power-play unit for Saturday's contest.

Robert Thomas Back For St. Louis Saturday

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas (illness) will rejoin the lineup Saturday against the Ducks. The 23-year-old was forced to skip Thursday's matchup against Detroit with an illness. He will go back to center the first line and should also see a healthy dose of power-play time. Thomas has gone scoreless in his last three games, but it's been a decent campaign for him overall with 44 assists and 60 points in 67 games. He's third on the team in scoring behind linemate Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich.

Robert Thomas Has Two Assists In Thursday's Win

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas finished Thursday's 4-2 victory over New Jersey with two assists. He helped Jordan Kyrou to reach 25 goals for the season and then combined with Kyrou to set up Brayden Schenn for a power-play goal. Thomas has now set up multiple goals in back-to-back games. The Blues have struggled for most of the season, but Thomas has been enjoying a very solid campaign with 48 points in 51 games. He will hope to get his point streak to five games over the weekend in a back-to-back versus Colorado and Ottawa.

Robert Thomas Remains Out On Monday

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas (lower body) will sit out a second consecutive game Monday versus the Jets. He was hurt in a matchup against Arizona last week, and unfortunately, we won't see Thomas again until after the All-Star break. He's the team's second-best scorer this season with 43 points in 48 games. Ryan O'Reilly (foot) has already been out since the start of the month, so St. Louis' center depth is getting tested by injuries at the minute. Noel Acciari was promoted to the top six at the weekend against Colorado and looks set to keep his place Monday.

Robert Thomas Back For Blues Thursday

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas (lower body) is ready for action again Thursday versus Carolina. He sat on the team's previous game with a minor lower-body problem. Thomas has been producing some hot stuff in recent weeks, notching 12 points in his past 10 appearances. He has recovered from a slow start and now has four goals and 15 assists for the season in 21 games. Thomas skated with Pavel Buchnevich and Vladimir Tarasenko Thursday morning and also worked on the top power-play unit.

Robert Thomas Misses Monday's Game

St. Louis Blues center Robert Thomas will miss Monday's matchup against Dallas with a lower-body injury. He got hurt at the weekend in a game against Florida and the team considers him day-to-day. The 23-year-old has enjoyed a good campaign so far with 19 points in 21 games. Brayden Schenn (lower body) was also injured against the Panthers, but he has already recovered and will play. Thomas has been skating with Pavel Buchnevich and Jordan Kyrou, but the former is now set to link up with fellow Russians Ivan Barbashev and Vladimir Tarasenko. Kyrou will play on a line with Schenn and Jake Neighbours. He's on an eight-game point streak and Kyrou's presence will boost the fantasy value of Schenn and Neighbours.

Robert Thomas Nets Two Goals In Game 5 Victory

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas scored his first two postseason goals of the year at the perfect time, helping the team turn a 3-0 deficit against Colorado into a 5-4 overtime win. The 22-year-old notched St. Louis' second after Vladimir Tarasenko had sparked the comeback and scored 56 seconds from the end of regulation to take the game to overtime. Tyler Bozak eventually finished off the job in the extra frame. Thomas' second strike marks the latest ever game-tying goal by a Blues player when facing elimination. He ended a five-game point drought in the contest. It's not been a great postseason so far for Thomas, as he has recorded only five points and has come up empty in eight of the team's 11 games.

Robert Thomas Nets Overtime Winner In Blues Victory

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas logged two points Friday in a 4-3 overtime victory over Minnesota. The goal he scored was the overtime winner for St. Louis. It was his 17th of the season. He now also has 45 helpers. Thomas centers the Blues second line, and he has recorded five game-winning goals this season. Down the stretch, Thomas has been hot, collecting nine points in his last five games played. Fantasy managers look for the Ontario native to continue to rack up points as the Blues have won four games in a row.

Robert Thomas Extends Point Streak To Career-High Seven Games

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas started the scoring with a power-play goal in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Seattle, extending his point streak to a career-high seven games in the process. Thomas is known as a good passer, and he boasts 44 assists for the campaign, but he's done most of his recent damage in front of the net, scoring in four of the last five games. The 22-year-old has played a big role for the team throughout the season and is averaging exactly a point per game through 60 outings. Minnesota will try to cool him down next.

Robert Thomas Practices Friday, Could Return To Lineup Saturday

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas (illness) could return to the lineup on Saturday when his team plays the host Columbus Blue Jackets. The 22-year-old center missed the last two games with a non-COVID-related illness but practiced with the team on Friday. Prior to being sidelined, Thomas scored two goals in back-to-back games, putting him at 48 points (12 goals, 36 assists) through 51 games this season. With his offense ramping up down the final stretch of the season, managers should be on the lookout for whether Thomas will play on Saturday.

Robert Thomas Totals Four Points In Victory

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas scored two goals and added two assists in Saturday's 7-4 victory against the Predators. Thomas recorded his second consecutive two-goal contest, following Thursday's multi-goal game against the Rangers. In his fourth NHL season, Thomas has totaled career-best numbers across the board with 12 goals, 36 assists and 48 points through 51 games. The 22-year-old ranks third on the team in points and he is an underrated forward option in deeper fantasy formats.

Robert Thomas Has Rejoined Practice

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas (lower body) returned to practice this week and seems to be edging closer to returning to the lineup. He hasn't played since Dec. 3, missing seven games. The 22-year-old is having a really strong campaign with 22 points across 24 games. He's formed a fearsome trio with Russian snipers Pavel Buchnevich and Vladimir Tarasenko, and it's safe to say that they can't wait to get back together, considering how successful the line has been this season. St. Louis resumes action on Dec. 27 against New Jersey.
