C.J. Kayfus Remains Strong At Double-A

Cleveland Guardians first base prospect C.J. Kayfus has continued to perform at an elite level since joining Double-A in June. Through his first 29 games at Akron, the former third-round selection in last year's draft has held a stellar .321/.440/.642 line with eight home runs, 37 RBI, and a 19:32 BB:K ratio. Since the start of July, he has tallied 10 total hits to the tune of a .313 AVG. Kayfus made his High-A debut to open the campaign and posted a .338/.437/.578 with seven home runs through 40 games before receiving the call to Double-A. Kayfus has been progressing through the minor leagues rather quickly and could make his major league debut as early as next season.

C.J. Kayfus Launches Two Home Runs For The Second Time This Week

Cleveland Guardians first base prospect C.J. Kayfus went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI on Wednesday evening. This was the second time this week that the 22-year-old tallied two long balls in the same game. Kayfus recently moved up to Double-A and has performed very well with a .371/.474/.758 slash line with six home runs, 21 RBI, and a 10:19 BB:K ratio through 18 games. The Miami product has progressed through the lower levels of the minor leagues rather quickly, as he is now just two stops away from the majors after just joining the Cleveland system in the third round of last year's draft. Kayfus is a name to keep a close eye on in dynasty leagues, as he is showcasing elite power and could reach the majors as soon as next summer.

C.J. Kayfus Promoted To Double-A

Cleveland Guardians first base prospect C.J. Kayfus is being promoted to Double-A Akron. Kayfus opened the season by making his High-A debut and is already just two stops away from the major leagues. Through 40 games with High-A Lake County, the former third-round pick posted a stellar .338/.437/.578 line with seven home runs, 37 RBI, four stolen bases, and a 23:33 BB:K ratio. The Miami product made his professional debut last summer with Single-A and held a .271/.429/.542 line with four long balls through 17 games. MLB Pipeline projects Kayfus to reach the majors in 2026, but that ETA could shift to as early as next season due to the rate of how fast he is moving through the minor leagues.
