Justin Wrobleski Placed on Injured List with Forearm Issue

According to David Vassegh, Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Justin Wrobleski (forearm) was placed on the 15-day Injured List on Sunday. Wrobleski has struggled over his last three starts, so the forearm issue could be partially to blame for his lack of success lately. The Dodgers haven't revealed a timetable on the southpaw yet, so fantasy managers will need to stay tuned for more updates. The 25-year-old owns a 3.56 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 100/28 K/BB ratio across 126.1 innings of work this season. In a corresponding move, Kyle Hurt was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to take the spot on the active roster.

Justin Wrobleski Caps Off Excellent June With 11 Punchouts

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Justin Wrobleski dominated the hosting Athletics at hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park on Tuesday night to finish off an excellent month of June on the mound. Wrobleski allowed three earned runs on seven hits (one homer) while walking none and striking out a season-high 11 batters in seven innings for his 10th win of 2026 in the team's 9-3 victory in Sacramento in the final game of the series. The 25-year-old southpaw is now 10-2 in his third year with the Dodgers and has posted a sharp 2.80 ERA (3.47 FIP) and 1.01 WHIP with 64 strikeouts and 18 walks in 93 1/3 innings across 15 appearances (14 starts). In five starts in June over 30 2/3 innings pitched, Wrobleski had a 2.64 ERA (3.63 FIP) with 24 strikeouts, only four walks, and three wins. Wrobleski has won three straight starts for L.A. and hasn't been in the loss column since late May. It's been a breakout season for the former 11th-rounder in 2021 out of Oklahoma State University, but with a 4.25 expected ERA and below-average 17.3% strikeout rate, he's a clear sell-high candidate with the first half of the season coming to an end soon.

Justin Wrobleski Expected to Start on Tuesday Against Rays

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Justin Wrobleski (hamstring) is listed as the team's probable starter for Tuesday's home game against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register. Wrobleski was pulled from his last start early last Thursday against the Pittsburgh Pirates with a right-hamstring contusion, but he was able to throw a normal between-starts bullpen, and he should be ready to go on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium. The 25-year-old southpaw has emerged as a fantasy asset in 2026 with his move to a starting role in L.A. Going into Tuesday's game against the first-place Rays, Wrobleski has gone 7-2 with the Blue with a career-best 2.95 ERA(3.67 FIP) and 1.05 WHIP with 45 strikeouts and 16 walks in a career-high 73 1/3 innings pitched across his 12 appearances (11 starts). It's been a nice start to 2026, but fantasy managers may want to consider selling high on Wrobleski, who has a weak 15.3% strikeout rate (20.2% for his career). Coming off an injury while facing Tampa, we'd recommend fading Wrobleski as a fantasy streamer on Tuesday evening.

Justin Wrobleski Pulled With Hamstring Injury

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Justin Wrobleski (hamstring) was forced to make an early exit from Thursday's outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Wrobleski took a line drive off his leg during the fifth inning of this game. After a visit from manager Dave Roberts, Wrobleski would exit the game. The southpaw has been diagnosed with a right hamstring contusion. Before leaving, Wrobleski allowed four earned runs on six hits with one strikeout over 4.2 innings of work. It's unclear at the moment if Wrobleski will be ready in time for his next start. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on his status shortly. UPDATE: Roberts said after Thursday's game that Wrobleski is expected to be fine for his next scheduled start against the first-place Tampa Bay Rays next Wednesday, per the Los Angeles Times' Maddie Lee.

Justin Wrobleski Excelling in Rotation, Waiver-Wire Value Soaring

Dodgers left-hander Justin Wrobleski has been elite in his transition back to a starting role this season, posting a 1.50 ERA and 0.97 WHIP through five games. Wrobleski has continued his steady growth entering his third year with Los Angeles and is climbing quickly within an already loaded rotation. The 25-year-old owns a 0.69 ERA in April and has already earned four wins, showing the ability to work deep into games. Wrobleski has attacked the strike zone consistently while generating more weak contact. He made only two starts for the Dodgers last season, but he looks fully comfortable in this expanded role. If this level continues, Wrobleski will remain one of the best waiver wire additions for fantasy managers seeking pitching help.

Justin Wrobleski Carrying Sneaky Value on the Waiver Wire

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Justin Wrobleski earned his third win of the season by allowing just one run in seven innings against the Rockies at Coors Field on Monday night. The 25-year-old lefty lowered his ERA to 1.88 with a 3.01 FIP and 0.88 WHIP. Wrobleski gave up eight hits in that outing and struck out only three, but he continues to be effective despite a 9.8% K%. While he isn't going to be an elite source of strikeouts, he can still have definite fantasy value while limiting damage so well and getting the backing of the Dodgers power-packed lineup. Wrobleski will make another start to finish out the week at home against the Cubs, and he's a nice addition if he's available in a league where you need quality innings and potential wins.

Is Justin Wrobleski Worth a Waiver-Wire Look After a Gem Against the Mets?

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Justin Wrobleski held the Mets to just two hits in eight shutout innings on Monday night to earn his second win of the season. Wrobleski only had two strikeouts but was very efficient, needing just 90 pitches to get 24 outs. The 25-year-old lefty has a 2.12 ERA and 3.37 FIP through his first three games this season, and he has held opponents to a 32.7% hard-hit rate with just a single barrel. While he only has a 9.5% K%, he has been very effective at limiting hard contact and contributing solid, efficient innings. He can be a nice pickup off the waiver wire for wins and quality innings, despite his limited strikeout upside. Wrobleski's next outing is scheduled for on the road at Coors Field next Monday, which will be a test given his contact-heavy approach.

Justin Wrobleski Tosses Six Scoreless Innings

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Justin Wrobleski came in as the bulk reliever during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals. This strategy has been working for the Dodgers, so they will continue using it. Wrobleski followed opener Lou Trivino and was nearly untouchable on the mound. He tossed six scoreless innings, allowing three hits, and striking out six batters in the win. Wrobleski has tossed four straight outings with two earned runs or less. The 24-year-old could start picking up steam here soon in fantasy leagues with the way he's throwing the ball.

Justin Wrobleski Expected to Pitch on Sunday

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Justin Wrobleski is expected to pitch in Sunday's series finale against the Kansas City Royals, but it's unclear if he'll be given the starting nod or if he'll serve in a bulk-relief role. The most likely outcome is that Wrobleski will pitch in bulk relief, as he's been more successful in that role with a 1.96 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with 19 strikeouts and only two walks in 18 1/3 innings. The 24-year-old southpaw is 3-2 in total in 29 1/3 innings pitched with a 4.91 ERA (3.76 FIP), 1.23 WHIP and 28:8 K:BB in his second year in the big leagues. Although Wrobleski does have higher-end velocity for a left-handed pitcher, fantasy managers should be able to find better deep-league streamers for Sunday's slate of action. He's gone at least 4 1/3 innings in each of his six big-league outings for L.A. this year. The Royals offense has the fourth-lowest OPS (.664) in baseball.

Justin Wrobleski Called Up to Start on Friday

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Friday that they recalled left-hander Justin Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioned right-hander Landon Knack to Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Wrobleski will make the start in Friday's series opener at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals in what will be just his eighth start in the big leagues since debuting in 2024. Fantasy managers should be looking to stay away from the 24-year-old southpaw as a streamer in St. Louis. He had a 5.09 ERA in 40 2/3 innings at OKC in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League and allowed eight earned runs on nine hits (two homers) while walking three and striking out eight in nine innings over his two outings (one starts) for L.A. earlier this year. Wrobleski's strikeout rate leaves plenty to be desired, and he could head right back to the minors after this spot start.
