Kemp Alderman Promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville

Miami Marlins outfield prospect Kemp Alderman has been promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville after a productive showing at Double-A throughout the bulk of the season. The Marlins' 11th-ranked prospect slashed .282/.337/.447 with 15 home runs and 20 stolen bases in 110 games for Pensacola, earning Southern League Player of the Week honors on three separate occasions in 2025. The 23-year-old will play out the remainder of the season with the Jumbo Shrimp, with eyes set on a potential major league debut in 2026. The former second-round draft pick has big-time power, but has shown that he can hit for average as well, and even has the chops to steal bases. With a seemingly complete skillset, if he can continue to produce at Triple-A, he could be a solid under-the-radar piece in dynasty formats.

Kemp Alderman Boasts Southern League Player of the Week Honors

Miami Marlins outfield prospect Kemp Alderman earned Southern League Player of the Week honors for his performance at Double-A Pensacola from July 28 through August 3, the third time this season that the Marlins' eighth-ranked prospect has garnered the award. The former second-round draft pick went 9-for-22 (.409) with two doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, three runs scored, a stolen base, and a 3:5 BB:K in six games for the Blue Wahoos. The 22-year-old is slashing .287/.336/.452 on the year, with 12 home runs and 17 steals in 88 games. He should get some at-bats at Triple-A by the time the season is over, and could be knocking on the door to the majors next season. His power potential is what makes him intriguing for fantasy, but the newfound base-stealing acumen (his previous high was five) adds another dimension to his appeal.

Kemp Alderman Swinging a Hot Bat at Double-A

Miami Marlins outfield prospect Kemp Alderman took home Southern League Player of the Week honors for the second time this season for his performance last week at Double-A Pensacola. The former second-round draft pick went 11-for-23 (.478), including one triple and a home run. The 22-year-old also drove in three runs, scored four times, and stole one base. Miami's 10th-ranked prospect is now riding an eight-game hit streak and owns a .276/.342/.420 slash line for the season. Not known as a fast runner, the Ole Miss product has stolen 13 bases through 48 games, blowing past his previous career high of five steals in a season, which was set last year. The 6-foot-2 slugger has also cut down on his strikeout rate this season, going from 24.4 percent last year down to 19.4 percent this year. His near-top-of-the-scale power should get him to the big leagues, but this newfound base-stealing acumen and improved contact skills could get him there sooner, likely sometime next year.

Kemp Alderman Shining In Arizona Fall League

Miami Marlins outfield prospect Kemp Alderman has been performing exceptionally well in the Arizona Fall League. Through a nine-game stint, the Ole Miss product has gone deep six times and posted a strong .306/.375/.833 slash line. Last summer, the former second-round selection from the 2023 draft class opened the campaign with Single-A and was able to end the season spending time with Double-A. Through 77 games in the Miami system last season, Alderman carried a solid .242/.306/.391 line and hit 15 doubles, two triples, eight long balls, and swiped five bags. Fantasy managers should expect the No. 12 ranked prospect in Miami to spend most of the 2025 campaign in the upper levels of the minor leagues.
