The team is not considering surgery at this time, as they do not believe the injury is a long-term concern. Baumann posted a 6-2 record at Double-A in 2019 to go along with a 2.31 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 65/21 K/BB rate. He is not a must-own prospect in dynasty leagues, but he has legitimate potential as a mid-rotation arm.
