Parks Harber Making Case For MLB Promotion at Age 24

San Francisco Giants third base prospect Parks Harber is having a solid age 24 season in the minors but could need some more seasoning before getting an MLB debut. After starting the season in Double-A, Harber was promoted to Triple-A Sacramento on July 17. With Sacramento, Harber totaled 104 at bats and hit .317 with five homers and 22 RBI along with a .917 OPS showing off his on-base skills. In all, between two teams, Harber hit .294 with 17 homers and 69 RBI. The right-handed hitter is the No. 13 prospect for the Giants and has 55-grade power and a 45-grade hit tool. The 6-foot-3, 217 pounder has the looks of a future major league regular but it is unknown if the Giants will decide to call him up before the end of this season or wait until next year to have him debut at the beginning of the 2027 season. Redraft managers will have to make a similar decision whether to take a risk on Harber.

Parks Harber Producing in Sacramento Ahead of Potential Call-Up

San Francisco Giants third base/outfield prospect Parks Harber is producing in a big way since his promotion to Triple-A Sacramento. In 21 games with Sacramento, Harber has five homers and 21 RBI with a .337 batting average in 86 at-bats. Between two levels of the minors this season, Harber is hitting .297 in 343 at-bats with 17 homers and 68 RBI to go with 57 runs scored. He checks in as the No. 13 prospect for San Francisco and can play third base or outfield. The 24-year-old was given a 55-grade for his power and has shown that off this season in the minors. Harber is likely to debut next season, but the Giants could take a shot on his power profile late this season. He is a name to monitor in redraft leagues with the hopes of a big-league shot this year.

Parks Harber Making Most of Promotion To Triple-A Sacramento

San Francisco Giants third base/outfield prospect Parks Harber has performed since a promotion to Triple-A Sacramento on July 17. With Sacramento, Harber is hitting .329 in 73 at-bats with four homers and 17 RBI to go with 12 runs scored. Harber is the No. 12 prospect in the Giants' system and boasts 55-grade power. The 24-year-old can play third base or the outfield and could give some versatility to the Giants down the stretch this season. Harber could be called upon this season to give San Francisco some big-league depth in the outfield or at third base, but is a bit of a risky stash, just because even his value as a big leaguer is a bit uncertain. A right-handed hitter, Harber has some power in his bat but is looking like a long shot to make a big impact this year as a big leaguer after just recently being promoted to Triple-A.
