The team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, is hitting .237/.370/.452 with an .822 OPS, 14 home runs, 53 RBI, 53 runs scored and 32 stolen bases in 395 plate appearances over 90 games at Triple-A Sugar Land in 2022. Houston Astros prospect Pedro Leon is on fire in June. The first-year pro out of Cuba went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four runs driven in on Tuesday. After hitting just .173 with a BB-K ratio of 7-33 in May, he's now up to .474 with a BB-K ratio of 2-3 through six June games. The contact improvement is significant. Originally an outfielder, Leon has been playing the majority of his games at shortstop with some outfield work sprinkled in. He has an intriguing mix of power and speed that could make him a valuable fantasy contributor if he continues to make consistent contact and unleashes his full power potential.
