The 27-year-old has been on the injured list since June 16 after straining his left hamstring, but manager Bob Melvin told reporters that he could be activated before Friday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Cosgrove has been a bright spot in the club's bullpen, pitching to a 0.53 ERA, 0.53 WHIP, and 25.9% strikeout rate across 17 innings, but has yet to earn a save or a hold. Until he begins pitching in the later innings, fantasy managers should keep the rookie on the waiver wire.
