Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers utility man Tommy Edman went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in Game 2 of the World Series. Edman has now tallied at least one hit in each of the past eight games and tallied at least two hits in each of the past five. Throughout October, Edman has been one of the most consistent bats in the Dodger lineup as he currently holds a stellar .365/.358/.577 slash line with two home runs, 13 RBI, and four stolen bases. His impressive 11 RBI during the NLDS earned him MVP honors in that series. The veteran utility man will continue to be a popular pick in DFS contests given his incredible stretch on Monday evening when he faces Yankee right-hander Clarke Schmidt.

Tommy Edman Takes Home NLCS MVP Honors
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Tommy Edman was named the NLCS MVP after a series-clinching Game 6 win over the New York Mets. Edman had another big game to seal the honor, going 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, a double, two runs scored, and four RBI. The 29-year-old was an RBI machine in this series, driving in 11 runs over the six games. He also batted .407 and scored five runs. There was some tough competition with the Dodgers' star-studded lineup, but Edman proved himself worthy even if he isn't as big of a name. Los Angeles has to be pretty happy with their mid-season acquisition of Edman.

Tommy Edman Takes A Seat On Friday
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Tommy Edman will head to the bench ahead of Friday's game against the Colorado Rockies. This appears to be a routine rest day for Edman who has been on fire with the bat lately. Edman is hitting over .300 with six home runs over his late 53 plate appearances. That being said, Edman should be back in the lineup after his rest day. Andy Pages will cover center field and bat sixth against left-hander Kyle Freeland on Friday. Pages is crushing lefty pitchers to the tune of a .347 batting average with two homers and eight RBI this season.

Tommy Edman Set To Return On Monday
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist, ankle) is set to make his return from the injured list on Monday. Edman is finally ready to make his season debut after missing a majority of the season due to multiple injuries. The 29-year-old can play all over the field but is expected to mainly play in center field for the Dodgers. Kevin Kiermaier has been playing a lot of center field lately, so he's likely going to slide into a bench role. Edman has been pretty reliable on offense and should be an asset in most fantasy formats.

Tommy Edman To Return On Monday
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (ankle, wrist) is scheduled to come off the 60-day injured list to make his season and team debut on Monday for the start of a series against the Seattle Mariners at Dodger Stadium. Edman had offseason wrist surgery and recently suffered an ankle injury that has kept him from making his 2024 debut. However, he's finally on the cusp of a return for fantasy managers that have been stashing him all year. The 29-year-old should see most of his playing time in center field for the Dodgers, which is bad news for both Kevin Kiermaier and rookie Andy Pages, but Edman is also likely to be eased in to a regular role given his long layoff. In five minor-league rehab games at Triple-A Oklahoma City, Edman has gone 5-for-15 with a home run.

Tommy Edman Slated For Seven Innings In Rehab Game
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist, ankle) took part in his first rehab game with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday and is slated to play seven innings on Tuesday, according to manager Dave Roberts. Barring any setbacks, Edman is on schedule to return from wrist surgery and a sprained ankle and make his season and Dodgers debut next Monday against the Seattle Mariners. Although it's unclear what kind of role he'll play right off the bat, Edman could eventually work his way into an everyday role in center field for the Dodgers down the stretch of the year. Even if he slots into the lower part of the batting order, the speedy 29-year-old switch-hitter will have legitimate fantasy upside as part of LA's vaunted lineup. Last year with the St. Louis Cardinals, Edman hit 25 doubles, scored 69 runs, and stole 27 bases in 137 games (479 at-bats). He makes a lot of sense as a stash across all formats.

Max Muncy, Tommy Edman Expected To Return During Next Homestand
Los Angeles Dodgers president Andrew Friedman said that he expects both third baseman Max Muncy (oblique) and infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist) to be reinstated from the injured list for the team's next homestand, which begins a week from Monday. Muncy and Edman were set to start their minor-league rehab assignments over the weekend with Triple-A Oklahoma City, so barring a setback, they should both be with the Dodgers' big-league roster soon. Muncy has been out since May 17 with a right-oblique strain, while Edman has yet to play in 2024 after having offseason wrist surgery. The Dodgers acquired him from the Cardinals at the July 30 trade deadline. LA could ease both of them into their starting lineup when they are ready, but by the end of the regular season, both Muncy and Edman should be regular lineup pieces for the Blue.

Max Muncy, Tommy Edman To Start Rehab Action This Weekend
Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy (oblique) and infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist, ankle) are expected to join Triple-A Oklahoma City on a minor-league rehab assignment this weekend. With that said, the two veteran infielders are at least a week before joining the Dodgers. Muncy is first set to participate in a simulated game on Thursday at Dodger Stadium, and barring any setbacks with his strained right oblique, he should be back with the major-league club sometime in mid-August. Edman will also participate in the sim outing as he works his way back from offseason right wrist surgery and a sprained ankle and toward his 2024 season debut. Muncy should immediately slot right back in as LA's everyday third baseman upon his return, while Edman should have a chance to push for regular at-bats in the outfield.

Tommy Edman Traded To The Dodgers
Utility specialist Tommy Edman (wrist) was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday as part of a three-team trade with the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox. Edman has yet to make his season debut following offseason wrist surgery and some ankle soreness in the middle of July. However, he is close to a return, as he is currently on a rehab assignment. Given his potential to play all over the field for Los Angeles, he should be added in most 12-plus team leagues. Last season, Edman finished with a .248 average, 13 home runs, 25 doubles, four triples, and 27 stolen bases.

Tommy Edman Garnering Interest In Trade Market
St. Louis Cardinals infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist) is drawing interest from both the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. Edman hasn't played yet this year while recovering from multiple injuries, but that hasn't stopped either team from going for the versatile 29-year-old in the trade market. Edman provides quality defense at prime positions and is a decent bat who can steal bases, making him a perfect piece to slot into a contending team. The Cardinals will likely look for a pretty decent package for the switch-hitter, but if he does get traded he will see an uptick in fantasy value with either of the teams rumored to be interested in him.
