Andy Pages Hits Eighth Homer In Victory

Los Angeles Dodgers rookie outfielder Andy Pages went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks, two runs and a solo home run in Tuesday's victory versus the Colorado Rockies. Pages homer came off Austin Gomber in the top of the second inning and flew 382 feet. The rookie has been having a very solid campaign since making his debut on April 16. On the year, Pages is hitting .262 with eight homers, 21 RBI and a .744 OPS in 202 at-bats. Pages has become a Rookie of the Year candidate with his strong campaign thus far and his numbers should only improve as he has moved up to the No. 5 spot in the batting order with Mookie Betts (hand) sidelined for the next six-to-eight weeks. Pages makes for a good play in both dynasty and redraft formats.

Andy Pages Heads To Bench Saturday Night

Los Angeles Dodgers rookie outfielder Andy Pages will head to the bench on Saturday night for their tilt against the Cincinnati Reds. Pages has struggled in May, hitting .200 in 85 plate appearances. Overall, Pages has five home runs, 16 RBI, 19 runs scored, and a stolen base with a .238 batting average. Veteran Chris Taylor will start in center field tonight and bat ninth. Look for Pages to get back in the lineup in the series finale on Sunday afternoon.

Andy Pages Not In Thursday’s Lineup

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages will be hitting the bench for the first time since his major league promotion on Thursday. The 23-year-old has been a lineup lock for just over the past month in Los Angeles. As a result, Teoscar Hernandez will move over to right field and bat cleanup, which opens up left field for Chris Taylor, who will bat seventh. Pages has performed exceptionally well in his first taste of the majors with a .260/.300/.440 line with four long balls and one swiped bag and should be expected to return to the starting lineup on Friday. Both Hernandez and Taylor are viable options in DFS today, as the Reds will have a bullpen game this evening with southpaw Brent Suter serving as the opener.

Andy Pages Collects Four Hits In Walk-Off Win

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages collected four hits in Friday's 4-3 win over the Braves, including a walk-off RBI single in the 11th inning. Pages was the only Dodger with more than one hit in the game and he's now riding a nine-game hit streak that includes three doubles and two home runs. The 23-year-old is now slashing .333/.354/.567 through his first 60 MLB at-bats with three home runs, 11 RBI, and 12 runs scored. He's been an excellent waiver-wire addition for fantasy managers, but it will be interesting to see what they do once Jason Heyward (back) is healthy, although with Pages hitting from the right and Heyward hitting from the left side, it could make for a good platoon situation.

Andy Pages Hits First Career Homer

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages made some noise with the bat during Sunday's game against the New York Mets. The rookie outfielder went 2-for-4 at the plate with three RBI in the 10-0 victory. Pages smacked a 413-foot home run off Grant Hartwig, which was the first of his young career. Pages is now 4-for-15 with three extra base hits since being called up. The expectation is that Pages will continue getting regular at-bats until Jason Heyward (back) returns to the field. Fantasy managers in mixed leagues should consider Pages as a possible option.

Andy Pages Making Fifth Straight Start

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages is making his fifth consecutive start on Sunday as the Dodgers hope to avoid a three-game sweep of the New York Mets. Pages was promoted to the major league roster prior to Tuesday's game and has started in every game since. The number three prospect in the Dodgers system has posted a .143/.250/.214 line across his small taste of the big leagues but was riding a .371/.452/.694 line across Triple-A to begin the season. It has been very promising to see Pages in the lineup every day since his callup, signaling to fantasy managers that the Dodgers value his bat and is worth adding if still available on your waiver wire. Pages could be a sneaky play in DFS as he will face Adrian Houser, who is entering Sunday with a 4.70 ERA.

Andy Pages Hitting Seventh In MLB Debut

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Andy Pages is starting in center field and batting seventh in his major-league debut on Tuesday versus the visiting Washington Nationals and left-hander Patrick Corbin. The Dodgers called Pages up from Triple-A Oklahoma City after finding out that Jason Heyward is going to miss more time with his back injury. The 23-year-old Pages already had five home runs and a 1.146 OPS in 15 games for Triple-A before his call-up. Most of his playing time with the Dodgers in his first taste of the majors will likely come when the team is facing a left-handed pitcher and James Outman retreats to the bench, which will limit his fantasy upside to deeper leagues as a short-term depth piece. The Cuban outfielder is mostly attractive in dynasty/keeper leagues for his plus power upside.

Dodgers To Promote Andy Pages

The Los Angeles Dodgers are calling up outfield prospect Andy Pages. Pages, 23, receives the promotion after hitting a ridiculous .371 with five home runs, 15 RBI and two stolen bases in 62 at-bats for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The Cuban product has recovered in a strong way from a torn labrum that shortened his 2023 campaign and will to carry his successes to the next level. Pages has always shown plenty of power in his bat and has good plate discipline. Playing time will be a factor in his ability to help fantasy managers, but veterans Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez haven't done much to earn everyday starts so far. Managers in dynasty leagues should already have Pages rostered and he is worth a speculative add in redraft leagues with managers keeping an eye on his playing time.

Andy Pages Blasts First Homer

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Andy Pages went 3-for-5 with two runs and a two-run homer for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday. The 23-year-old out of Cuba is now hitting a healthy .270 with three RBI and two stolen bases to go along with home run. Pages has shown plenty of power since being signed by the Dodgers at age 18. If it were not for a torn labrum after just 34 games in 2023, it is possible that Pages may have gotten an opportunity at some point to help the Dodgers. Pages has a knack for being able to draw walks and that plus his power could mean big things at the next level. His biggest issue is that he is employed by one of the best rosters in the game, but if an injury opens things up or he becomes dealt, he could provide value to managers. For now, he remains best valued in dynasty leagues and a name for redraft managers to keep an eye on.

Andy Pages Hitting Well In Triple-A

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Andy Pages, signed out of Cuba in 2018, is off to a red-hot start this season, posting career-bests in both walk and strikeout rates. Historically a power player with plenty of strikeouts to go along with high home run totals, Pages has demonstrated an ability to focus on his plate discipline and drive in runs so far this season. It's unclear whether this approach is intentional and here to stay, but at the very least, it's a sign of immense promise for the young outfielder. Pages uses great bat speed and leverage to launch baseballs out of the park, but as mentioned, his aggressive approach can lead to strikeouts. In the outfield, he has average speed but still gets a quick jump on balls hit toward him. He takes great angles and tracks balls with ease, demonstrating his baseball IQ before showing off his elite arm strength. He certainly has the strong-arm, powerful-bat makeup of a stereotypical right fielder. Pages showed up big in the box scores this past week, hitting 8-for-18 with two doubles, two homers, and 10 RBI. He also drew a whopping eight walks while striking out four times. His most impressive game came on April 14 when he went 3-for-4 with a double and two homers. Currently 22 years old in Double-A, Pages should reach Triple-A this year with a chance to make his MLB debut in 2024. When he does, he might just have instant fantasy appeal.
