Josue De Paula, Kendall George to Participate in Arizona Fall League

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Josue De Paula is one of eight Dodger prospects set to participate in this year's Arizona Fall League (AFL). The Dodgers' top-ranked prospect (MLB No. 12) had a strong season at High-A, where he slashed .263/.406/.421 with 12 home runs and 32 steals. Impressively, the 20-year-old walked (81) nearly as many times as he struck out (86). The performance earned him a promotion to Double-A this past Monday. The left-handed slugger will be accompanied by Kendall George, his teammate from Great Lakes, who stole 100 bases this season. The AFL season commences on October 6, and it could provide De Paula with the extra seasoning he needs in order to make a run at a big league debut next year.

Josue De Paula Headed to Double-A Tulsa

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Josue De Paula is getting promoted to Double-A Tulsa for the remainder of the season. The Dodgers' top-ranked prospect (MLB No. 12) had a strong season at High-A, where he batted .263 with 12 home runs and a .421 slugging percentage. He also drew walks at an elite rate of 19.0 percent, buoying a phenomenal .406 on-base percentage, which also helped him steal 32 bases. The 20-year-old should move to within the top 10 prospects in all of baseball next year, and could even see a late-season call-up to the big leagues if everything goes right. With a solid all-around toolset, this year's All-Star Futures Game MVP should be stashed away in dynasty formats.

Josue De Paula Hits 7-Day Injured List

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Josue De Paula (undisclosed) was placed on the 7-day injured list at High-A Great Lakes. De Paula recently took home the MVP from the Futures Game during All-Star weekend. Throughout the regular season, De Paula has emerged as one of the top bats in the Dodger system. Through 82 games with High-A, the No. 1-ranked prospect in the system on MLB.com has posted an impressive .262/.409/.416 slash line with an .825 OPS, 12 doubles, 10 home runs, and 28 stolen bases. This is a great sign as he posted a much lower .254 AVG with a .778 OPS during his first stint at High-A last summer. When he returns from the IL, he could contend for a late-season taste of Double-A. De Paula is a fast-rising prospect in dynasty formats and could push for a late-season 2026 MLB debut.

Josue De Paula Named All-Star Futures Game MVP

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Josue De Paula went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in the fourth inning of Saturday's All-Star Futures Game that erased a 2-0 deficit, putting the NL squad ahead with a lead they would not relinquish as they went on to win the game 4-2. The 418-foot blast came off the bat at 108.5 mph on a pitch delivered by 6-foot-10 lefty Noah Schultz, who is the game's fourth-highest ranked pitching prospect (White Sox No. 1, MLB No. 17), and catapulted the left-handed hitting De Paula to Futures Game MVP honors. The Dodgers' top-ranked prospect is having a productive season at High-A thus far, batting .265 with 10 home runs and 26 stolen bases, while registering a lofty .409 OBP thanks to his ability to draw walks (65) just as often as he strikes out (66). The 20-year-old's future looks bright, and this performance could give some extra momentum heading into the second half of the season, which could earn him a promotion to Double-A in the coming weeks.

Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope to Play in All-Star Futures Game

The Dodgers' top two prospects are having productive seasons at High-A Great Lakes, with De Paula hitting .269 with 10 home runs, 24 steals, and an .852 OPS thanks in part to a phenomenal .409 OBP that is bolstered by an 18.8 percent walk rate. Hope is hitting .297 with seven home runs, 11 steals, and an .865 OPS, also thanks to a strong 14.1 percent walk rate. Both are making the case for a promotion to Double-A, and both could be in the big leagues as soon as next year. Each of them could also be big-time fantasy producers within a couple of years, so dynasty managers should have a keen interest in both players.
