Unfortunately, he was limited to only 63 games before being sidelined in March because of a blood clot. Thompson likely won't see his usual workload in his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. But with Cade Cunningham (hip) out, Thompson could get a few additional scoring opportunities.

If Kessler is not ready to return, Drew Eubanks and Brice Sensabaugh will take on larger roles, with one of them likely starting.
