Caris LeVert Remains Out For Sunday
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Toronto Raptors. LeVert will miss his second game in a row due to left knee inflammation. He'll be joined by Dean Wade (ankle) on the sideline for Sunday, which leaves the Cavs shorthanded. Isaac Okoro (ankle) is expected to take on a bigger role in the rotation if he's cleared. Otherwise, Sam Merrill and Jaylon Tyson are candidates to see larger workloads. Tyson is coming off a strong outing where he dropped 16 points and 11 rebounds on Wednesday. He's worth a look as a streaming option with the Cavs banged up at the moment.

Jimmy Butler Will Play On Sunday
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (illness) was considered questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. He sat out of practice on Saturday and is currently listed as questionable on the injury report. Despite that, Butler is reportedly ready to go and will suit up for this game, according to Chris Haynes. If active, Butler should resume his role in the starting five which will mean Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Alec Burks won't see a boost at all. Fantasy managers should check back ahead of tip-off just in case Butler suffers a setback.

Alexandre Sarr Tagged As Questionable
Washington Wizards forward Alexandre Sarr (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The rookie forward was a late addition to the injury report due to a minor illness. He's currently in danger of missing his first game of the season on Sunday. If that happens, Jonas Valanciunas figures to move into the starting five. He has been playing minutes in the teens lately and has two double-doubles over his last three games. That being said, Valanciunas is looking like a solid streaming option if Sarr is unable to play on Sunday.

Jordan Poole Won't Play On Sunday
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (hip) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Poole was questionable heading into this game due to a left hip issue, but has now been downgraded to out. Bub Carrington figures to move into the starting five. He posted an 18-point outing earlier in the week, so fantasy managers looking for help at the end of the week might want to consider adding Carrington. Corey Kispert could also see more minutes and has been more of a consistent shooting option lately.

Luke Kornet Absent On Sunday
Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kornet wasn't on the injury report, but is now a late scratch due to a hamstring issue. The loss of Kornet won't mean too much with Al Horford (illness) returning on Sunday. The loss of Kornet should mean more minutes for Neemias Queta and Xavier Tillman Sr. in the rotation. Neither are ideal streaming options but Queta could be worth a look due to his rebounding.

Al Horford Cleared For Sunday
Boston Celtics center Al Horford (illness) is available to play for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Horford is back in the mix after missing Friday's contest due to an illness. The expectation is Horford will resume his normal role in the rotation. The big man is averaging 10.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 27 minutes per game this season. There have been some duds along the way, but Horford has been playing better over his last two games. His return to the lineup should shift Neemias Queta back to the bench. Fantasy managers who have Horford rostered can get him in their lineups ahead of tip-off.

Grant Williams Suffers Torn ACL
Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams (knee) received some bad news following his exit from Saturday's contest. Williams is reportedly expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL. This is a tough break for the Hornets as Williams was playing big minutes for them. He's averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 29 minutes per game this season. The Hornets are already banged up with Nick Richards (ribs) and Mark Williams (foot) sidelined right now. In the short term, Moussa Diabate figures to see more minutes in the rotation. Once healthy, Richards should have a significant role and is looking like a great stash where he's available.

Daniel Gafford Dealing With Shoulder Soreness
Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's matchup versus the Miami Heat. With Luka Doncic (wrist) sidelined, Gafford stepped up in Friday's win over the Denver Nuggets, finishing with 13 points, six rebounds, three steals, and one block. Unfortunately, he's dealing with a sore shoulder. If the 26-year-old doesn't suit up for this one, Dereck Lively II would likely see an uptick in minutes. Naji Marshall, who had 26 points on Friday, and Maxi Kleber could also get more involved if Gafford can't get on the floor.

Jordan Poole Uncertain For Sunday's Game Against Indiana
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The former Golden State Warrior is coming off a 23-point, eight-assist effort in Friday's loss to the Boston Celtics. But if the hip flexor soreness keeps him off the floor versus Indy, Bub Carrington would presumably slide into the starting lineup. However, Malcolm Brogdon, who had a double-double on Friday night, and Kyle Kuzma would be the favorites to benefit the most if Poole is sidelined.

Al Horford Questionable To Play Against Minnesota
Boston Celtics center Al Horford (illness) is questionable for the meeting with the Timberwolves on Sunday. The veteran is under the weather, so it will be his second-straight absence if he doesn't suit up on Sunday. If that's the case, Neemias Queta will likely remain with the starting lineup, although he's a hit-or-miss fantasy option. The same can be said for Luke Kornet, who had six points, six rebounds, one board, and one block in Friday's win over the Washington Wizards.

Mike Conley Still Out On Sunday
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley (toe) won't play in Sunday's matchup against the Celtics. The veteran has struggled this season, averaging a career-low 7.5 points and 31.9% shooting from the field. While production like that won't make him a valuable commodity for fantasy managers, his absence will at least open up minutes for Nickeil Alexander-Walker, although he's coming off a rough six-point effort in the loss to the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.

Wendell Carter Jr. Still Out Versus Detroit
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) won't play in Saturday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. He was questionable early on Saturday, so there was a chance he would return. However, the 25-year-old will now miss his eleventh-straight game and his twelfth of the 2024-25 campaign. With Carter remaining on the shelf, Goga Bitadze should continue to take his spot in the rotation. Bitadze has played well in his 10 starts, averaging 9.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks, keeping him relevant in all fantasy setups.

Victor Wembanyama Upgraded To Probable
San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (knee) is probable for Saturday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors. He has missed the last three games because of a knee contusion. While the 20-year-old was questionable to play early on Saturday, his designation was upgraded, meaning there's a good chance he'll be out there. As expected, Wembanyama has had a fantastic year, averaging 22.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks. Turnovers are still an issue, and his three-point shooting could also improve. Yet, he's a must-start if he gets the green light, even if he plays fewer minutes than normal. Even so, his presence would make Zach Collins mostly irrelevant in most fantasy setups.

Ausar Thompson To Play On Saturday Night
Detroit Pistons forward Ausar Thompson (conditioning) will play in Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic. The 21-year-old averaged 8.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals as a rookie. Unfortunately, he was limited to only 63 games before being sidelined in March because of a blood clot. Thompson likely won't see his usual workload in his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. But with Cade Cunningham (hip) out, Thompson could get a few additional scoring opportunities.

Walker Kessler Might Return To Action Saturday
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (hip) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Knicks. He will hope to return to the lineup after missing six games. John Collins has started alongside Kyle Filipowski (ankle) during Kessler's absence, but the two might now share the frontcourt, as Filipowski has been ruled out for Saturday's contest. If Kessler is not ready to return, Drew Eubanks and Brice Sensabaugh will take on larger roles, with one of them likely starting. However, the Knicks own outstanding defensive numbers against opposing frontcourts, so this isn't a good matchup for Utah's big men.

Kyle Filipowski To Miss Saturday's Game
Utah Jazz forward/center Kyle Filipowski (ankle) has been listed as out for Saturday's meeting with the Knicks. The rookie big man sprained his right ankle against San Antonio on Thursday. Filipowski made a fifth straight start on Thursday. Drew Eubanks and Brice Sensabaugh saw extra action following his exit against the Spurs, with the latter tallying 18 points and six rebounds with one block. However, the situation might be different on Saturday because Walker Kessler (hip) is on the cusp of returning to the lineup.

Jordan Clarkson Considered Questionable For Saturday
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) might be absent for a second consecutive game on Saturday against the Knicks. The team considers him questionable for the matchup. Clarkson's absence opens up backcourt minutes for the likes of Isaiah Collier and Johnny Juzang. The two aren't reliable fantasy options, although Collier did a good job as a playmaker on Thursday versus San Antonio, dishing out six assists in 24 minutes off the bench.

Miles McBride Questionable To Face Jazz
New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (knee) remains on the injury report as questionable ahead of Saturday's meeting with Utah. McBride hasn't featured in four games due to a knee problem, and there's a strong chance he remains on the shelf this weekend. Cameron Payne has had a good stretch during McBride's absence off the Knicks bench, averaging 12.0 points and 4.0 assists. He might be even more influential on Saturday because the Jazz allow the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.

Joel Embiid To Remain Out On Sunday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will be out until at least next week. After playing in three consecutive games, Embiid was removed from the lineup on Friday against Brooklyn, and according to ESPN's Shams Charania, the former MVP will continue to sit on Sunday when Philadelphia faces the Clippers. Embiid is managing swelling in his left knee and is receiving treatment. Guerschon Yabusele drew the start on Friday after Andre Drummond had covered for Embiid on previous occasions this season.

Nikola Jokic Returns To Action Friday
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (personal) is expected to return to action on Friday against Dallas. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Jokic will be available for the matchup. The Jokic family recently welcomed a new baby, resulting in a three-game absence for the three-time MVP. Jokic has been posting absurd numbers this season, including against the Mavericks in his most recent appearance. He racked up 37 points, 18 rebounds, 15 assists, and three steals in a 122-120 win on Nov. 10. Jokic's return pushes Dario Saric back to the bench.
