Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson scored a game-high 33 points as the team beat Sacramento 121-99 on Sunday to secure the best regular-season record in the league. He made six triples with 12 attempts and shot 11-for-20 overall from the field with a 5-for-5 record at the foul line. Clarkson's night at the office included three assists, two rebounds and two steals with three turnovers. The 28-year-old had a great regular season and it will be a major shock if he doesn't get the Sixth Man of the Year Award. Clarkson posted 18.4 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists in 68 games while logging only one start.
Utah Jazz point guard Jordan Clarkson carried the bulk of the offensive load for the team in their 119-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday. Clarkson scored a season-high 41 points in the game, just one point shy of his career-high of 42 points. He shot 16-for-33 in the game, including 5-for-16 from three-point range. He didn't record a single assist, but he had seven rebounds and one steal. Clarkson has had some extremely high usage games lately with Donovan Mitchell (ankle) sidelined. He's attempted at least 20 field goals in three of his last five games now. Expect for him to stay aggressive on Wednesday when the Jazz face off against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson had his best scoring performance in five games on Wednesday, finishing a blowout victory over Sacramento with 23 points in 25 minutes off the bench. He sank four triples with seven attempts and shot 8-for-14 overall from the field while adding three rebounds to his line. The Kings own the league's worst defense, so it's no surprise Clarkson pulled off a good scoring performance. The next matchup against Phoenix will be a lot more difficult with the Suns sitting sixth in defensive efficiency.
Utah Jazz shooting guard Jordan Clarkson entered the starting lineup for Saturday's meeting with the Lakers and had 27 points on 11-for-27 shooting against his former team in a 127-115 overtime loss. He had most of his attempts from deep, finishing 5-for-15 from downtown. Clarkson added five rebounds, four assists and one steal to his line with two turnovers in 46 minutes. He ate up a huge amount of minutes with Donovan Mitchell (ankle) and Mike Conley (rest) sitting out. Mitchell is set to be re-evaluated in seven days, which will give Clarkson plenty of time to put of big scoring performances. He gets to show the Lakers again what they are missing on Monday.
