Jaylen Brown Available For Game 4
Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (knee) will play on Sunday versus Orlando. The right knee impingement isn't expected to go away anytime soon, so DFS managers will likely see him on the injury report for the rest of the postseason. But unless Brown suffers a setback along the way, he'll likely continue to see north of 30 minutes per contest. However, his presence should mean Sam Hauser, who would have been in line to start, will likely remain on the bench, lowering his fantasy ceiling.

Darius Garland Questionable For Game 4
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (toe) is questionable for Monday's encounter with the Miami Heat. He didn't suit up for Game 3 on Saturday because of a left great toe sprain, an Injury he battled toward the end of the regular season. As a result, Sam Merrill entered the starting lineup. However, Merrill went scoreless, with De'Andre Hunter and Ty Jerome combining for 34 points, 14 assists, and three steals. Jarrett Allen also returned to form, ending with a team-high 22 points, his highest of the postseason. If Garland remains sidelined, Hunter, Jerome, Allen, Evan Mobley, and Max Strus should all receive more scoring chances. Donovan Mitchell, coming off a 13-point effort, should turn things around.

Jaden Ivey Making Progress
Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey (calf) is still recovering from the broken left Fibula he sustained during the January 1 win over the Orlando Magic. Fortunately, Ivey is moving in the right direction, with the team reporting that his current activities include "a progression of basketball shooting and skill work," which have been accompanied by "continued re-conditioning and strength work." He had a down year in 2023-24. Yet, with J.B. Bickerstaff at the Helm, Ivey averaged a career-high 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 40.9% shooting from downtown during the regular season. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Still, the Pistons are one game away from being bounced from the postseason by the Knicks, meaning Ivey likely won't be back in the lineup until the beginning of the 2025-26 campaign, assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks along the way.

Jimmy Butler III Ruled Out On Saturday
Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler (pelvis) won't play on Saturday against the Rockets. He had 25 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals in Game 1. However, the veteran was injured in Game 2, limiting him to only seven minutes of action. Without Butler, Moses Moody, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Brandin Podziemski should all benefit on the scoring end. Jonathan Kuminga, who had 11 points in Game 2, might also remain in the rotation, potentially even entering the starting lineup.

If Stewart can get back on the floor for Game 4, Tim Hardaway Jr., coming off a 24-point effort, should remain in the starting lineup. Still, he hasn't done much for DFS managers outside of his rebounding efforts, totaling only eight points in the first three games of the series. If Robinson can't suit up, Precious Achiuwa will likely see more minutes. Still, Thibodeau will presumably continue to run his starting lineup into the ground, leaving little room for anyone else to get involved.

Fortunately, the 26-year-old hasn't missed a game during the series. Porter has struggled, hitting the double-digit scoring mark just once in his last three games. But with Russell Westbrook (foot) out, Porter could benefit on the scoring end.

Unfortunately, he had only three points in Game 3 and was limited to eight minutes of action. It's unknown if Westbrook will be ready to return for Game 5. In the meantime, Peyton Watson and Jalen Pickett should see more work from off the bench. Still, interim head coach David Adelman will presumably give his starting lineup all the minutes they can handle, which could make it difficult for Watson and Pickett to do anything meaningful for DFS managers.

Warriors Optimistic About Jimmy Butler III Playing Saturday
Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (pelvis) has officially been listed as questionable for Game 3 against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. On Friday, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that "there's a chance he plays" after the veteran forward suffered a hard fall in Wednesday's Game 2. "I'm relatively optimistic," Kerr said. "I mean, Jimmy is Jimmy. We know he's willing to play through anything, so we'll see. I mean, this is a day-to-day thing for sure, and we'll see how he feels tomorrow, but I think there's a chance he plays." Holiday appears to have strained his hamstring during Game 2 as he hasn't been listed on the injury report prior to today. The 34-year-old hasn't been putting up many points this series but has been facilitating well with five assists in Game 1 and six assists in Game 2. In Holiday's absence, veteran big man Al Horford will get the start. Horford also got the start in Game 2 filling in for the injured Jayson Tatum and put up nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds. With Tatum back in the lineup Horford may not grab 10 rebounds again, but he should be able to provide some small value to fantasy managers and DFS players looking to take a shot.

Miami Heat forward/center Kevin Love (personal) will miss Saturday's Game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The veteran big man, who won the championship with the Cavaliers in 2016, remains away from the team for personal reasons. Miami's frontcourt has relied heavily on Bam Adebayo and Kel'el Ware recently, while Nikola Jovic also re-entered the rotation in Game 2, scoring 11 points and grabbing eight rebounds off the bench. Jovic played six more minutes than Ware and may have a significant role to fill again on Saturday.
