Knicks
Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby intends to sign a five-year, $212.5 million contract extension with the Knicks. The extension includes a player option and trade kicker. He became an unrestricted free agent by declining the player option for the final season of the four-year, $72 million contract he inked with Toronto in 2020. Anunoby averaged 14.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 34.9 minutes during 23 contests for New York in the regular season. The 26-year-old was sidelined for most of the final two months of the regular season with a loose bone fragment in his right elbow that required surgery.

OG Anunoby Declines Player Option
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby declined his $19.9 million player option on Monday, putting him in line to hit unrestricted free agency on June 30. Anunoby began the 2023-24 campaign by appearing in 27 games for the Toronto Raptors. But he was dealt to New York ahead of the trade deadline, where he averaged 14.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals. Unfortunately, the 26-year-old was limited to only 23 appearances with the Knicks during the regular season because of an elbow issue. Anunoby also missed time in the postseason because of a hamstring injury. Without question, the 2017 No. 23 overall pick was a difference maker for the Knicks, so the team will do everything possible to keep him. However, he's expected to double his annual salary on the open market.

OG Anunoby Reportedly "Not Thrilled" With Knicks' Contract Offers
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby might end up elsewhere this offseason. Per ESPN's Brian Windhorst, there have been "indications" that Anunoby may want to test the market as a free agent because he is "not thrilled" with what the Knicks are offering. Reports suggest that Anunoby could land a contract worth $35-40 million per year in free agency. Anunoby was a very good fit with the Knicks after arriving from Toronto on Dec. 30. He averaged 14.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks with the team. The Knicks had a fantastic 20-3 regular-season record with him in the lineup.

OG Anunoby Limited In Game 7
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) was available for Sunday's matchup against the Pacers. He had been out since suffering a hamstring strain in Game 2. Unfortunately, Anunoby clearly wasn't ready to return, with the former Raptor logging only five minutes before calling it an afternoon. At any rate, the Knicks are now eliminated from the postseason. However, Anunoby made a difference for the Knicks after being acquired from Toronto ahead of the trade deadline, averaging 14.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals in 23 games with New York. Yet, the 26-year-old dealt with several injuries near the end of the 2023-24 campaign and into the playoffs, which isn't uncommon. With that said, Anunoby has plenty of talent, but fantasy managers won't trust him fully on their rosters until he proves he can stay healthy.

OG Anunoby Officially Active For Game 7
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) is officially active for Sunday's pivotal playoff matchup against the Indiana Pacers. There were reports on Saturday morning that he would miss Game 7. However, the former Raptor was bumped to questionable in the afternoon, giving DFS managers some hope. Anunoby had played well in this series before tweaking his hamstring in Game 2. While he's a risky DFS option, there's no denying his upside.

OG Anunoby Officially Questionable For Game 7
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's contest against Indiana. Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reported Saturday morning that the former Raptor won't play. However, the last edition of the injury report seems to indicate he has a shot to be in the lineup after sitting out since Game 2 because of a hamstring strain. With Josh Hart (abdomen) questionable, the Knicks need Anunoby back in the lineup. But if he can't return for Game 7, Precious Achiuwa would get more minutes and remain a hit-or-miss DFS option.

OG Anunoby Already Ruled Out For Game 7
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) won't play on Sunday against the Pacers. The 26-year-old began the series by amassing 13 points and nine boards in the series opener on May 6. While he scored 28 points in Game 2, he tweaked his hamstring in that contest and hasn't been available since. The Knicks are plagued by injuries across the roster, with Josh Hart injuring his abdomen in Friday's loss. Hart will likely carry an injury designation heading into the finale. But if he's also ruled out, Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo would likely see the most chances on the offensive end. There would also be room for added production from Isaiah Hartenstein, Alec Burks, Precious Achiuwa, and Miles McBride.

OG Anunoby To Remain Out On Tuesday
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) will remain sidelined for Game 5 against Indiana on Tuesday. He injured his left hamstring in Game 2 of the series, and it was reported at the weekend that Anunoby has yet to resume running. It looks like it could take quite a bit of time until he's good to go again. Anunoby's absence has opened the door for Alec Burks to enter the rotation, with Precious Achiuwa also benefitting.

OG Anunoby Out Again On Sunday
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's playoff matchup with the Pacers. The former Raptor injured his left hamstring in Game 2 and wasn't available for the loss of Friday night. While he is with the team in Indiana and receiving multiple treatment sessions daily, there's a chance he could miss more games moving ahead. Nonetheless, until Anunoby is back on the floor, Precious Achiuwa and Alec Burks should continue to see more minutes. However, Burks scored 14 points in Game 3, so he'll be the preferred DFS option over Achiuwa.

OG Anunoby Will Not Play In Game 3 Against Indiana
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers. He suffered a hamstring strain in Game 2 on Wednesday. Despite the injury, Anunoby managed to post his new playoff career high with 28 points in 28 minutes. He's also an outstanding defender, and Anunoby's injury is definitely a big blow for the Knicks, who have gone 26-5 with him in the lineup since acquiring the versatile forward from Toronto. Precious Achiuwa and Alec Burks should share Anunoby's minutes, with the rest of the Knicks squad already logging a massive amount of playing time in the playoffs.
