Amon-Ra St. Brown News
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught six of his nine targets for 49 yards in the 20-16 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 18. It was one of St. Brown's lowest fantasy outputs of the season, but he still finished firmly as a WR1 in 2022. The second-year wide receivers totaled 106 receptions for 1,161, and six touchdowns on the season and will be an early fantasy pick in 2023. It'll be interesting to see if Jared Goff remains the starting quarterback, or if the team decides to take a quarterback in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Either way, St. Brown is a bona fide fantasy football stud and a top dynasty asset at just 23 years old.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a fantasy superstar in 2022, but it's worth noting he'll face a tough matchup in Week 18. The Green Bay Packers have allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season and its defense has come alive in recent weeks during the four-game winning streak. However, St. Brown has commanded at least nine targets in 11 of his 15 games played this season, so he's a strong start and DFS option regardless of matchup. Packers' cornerback Jaire Alexander presents matchup problems for outside receivers, but he has just a 46.9-percent shadow rate (Playerprofiler.com), so that's not a concern here for the elite slot wide receiver. It's worth noting If the Seattle Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams before this game kicks off, Detroit will already be eliminated from playoff contention, so there's also a risk the motivation could be lacking for this one.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught four of his five targets for 62 yards in the blowout win over the Chicago Bears in Week 17. Since he didn't reach the end zone, it was a disappointing fantasy day in the championship round of the fantasy football playoffs, but since the game got out of hand early in the second half, Detroit was able to lean on the rushing attack. St. Brown still put up a respectable 10.2 PPR fantasy points, but it was far from a matchup-winning day for the second-year wideout.
