San Francisco 49ers offensive guard Ben Bartch (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game versus the Chicago Bears. The 49ers offensive line allows only 2.1 sacks per contest. With San Francisco banged up on the offensive side of the ball, another injury isn't good news, especially with Trent Williams (ankle) and Aaron Banks (concussion) ruled out heading into this contest. If Bartch doesn't return, Spencer Burford may be in line for more work.
Jaguars Bring in Ben Bartch to Help Offensive Line
The Jacksonville Jaguars have selected St. John's offensive guard/tackle Ben Bartch with the No. 116 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Adding to the offensive tackle spot was a must for the Jags heading into the draft. Bartch has solid hands, great strength and light feet. There's a good chance he gets significant playing time with the Jags fairly weak at the tackle spot. It remains to be seen what else the Jags decide to add, but Bartch should benefit their offensive line in 2020.
