K.J. Britt, Mike Edwards Ruled Out For Rest Of Week 13
Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker K.J. Britt (ankle) and safety Mike Edwards (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's matchup with the Panthers. Britt has been one of the Bucs' most reliable defenders all year, while Edwards has appeared in only one game for Tampa this season. However, with so many injuries on the defensive side of the ball for the Buccaneers, the team can't afford anymore losses. Both will likely need further testing, so it's unknown if they will play in Week 14 versus the Raiders. If not, Anthony Nelson and J.J. Russell should benefit, with Tampa potentially needing to move things around to fill the void left by Edwards' possible absence.
K.J. Britt Questionable To Return Against Carolina
Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker K.J. Britt (ankle) exited Sunday's game against the Panthers. He is questionable to return. The 25-year-old entered Week 13 ranked third on the team in total tackles. He has also played in 566 of the snaps on the defensive end, one of the highest on the team. With Tampa struggling versus Carolina, the Bucs need him back on the field as soon as possible. But until that happens, Anthony Nelson and J.J. Russell could see more action.
