Cam Taylor-Britt has Benefited From Addition of Al Golden

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt has really benefited from the addition of new defensive coordinator Al Golden, according to The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. Taylor-Britt has been unable to find consistency and was benched multiple times in 2024, but Dehner writes that his energy, athleticism and playmaking ability have shown up during the offseason. The 25-year-old former second-rounder (60th overall) in 2022 out of Nebraska has played at a high level before in Cincy's secondary and could become a true No. 1 cornerback for the Bengals in 2025. Although he had a career-high 77 tackles (58 solo), half a sack, three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and a career-high 16 pass breakups in 17 starts a year ago, Taylor-Britt was a liability in coverage and gave up 734 receiving yards, and six touchdowns. The Bengals need him to be better in 2025.

Bengals Open 21-Day Window For Cam Taylor-Britt To Return

The Cincinnati Bengals opened the 21-day practice window for cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve. The second-year pro was placed on IR on December 4 after suffering an ankle injury in practice. The Bengals have allowed the fifth-most passing yards per game (256.1) this year, so his return to the lineup could provide a boost for the struggling secondary. Taylor-Britt tallied 46 tackles, one forced fumble, and four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) in 10 games before being sidelined. The Bengals now have 21 days to activate him to the roster, though they are on the outside looking in for an AFC Wild Card spot.

Cam Taylor-Britt Placed On Injured Reserve

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle) is being placed on Injured Reserve after suffering an ankle injury in practice leading up to the Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This means he will miss at least the next four games. With the Bengals potentially being out of playoff contention by Week 17, there's a chance his season is over. The 2022 second-round pick was having a solid season, racking up 46 tackles, one forced fumble, and four interceptions in 10 games. In his absence, Mike Hilton and DJ Turner will likely see more snaps.

Cam Taylor-Britt Knocked Out Of Thursday Night Game

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (quadriceps) was ruled out of the Thursday night contest against the Baltimore Ravens after suffering a quadriceps injury. Before leaving the game, the 24-year-old made one tackle. His injury is a big one for a team that also lost star quarterback Joe Burrow to a right-wrist injury right before halftime. Taylor-Britt came into the Week 11 game with 45 tackles (36 solo), a team-high four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), nine passes defensed and one forced fumble in nine games. With Taylor-Britt out the rest of the game, Mike Hilton will play more defensive snaps. The good news is Taylor-Britt will have extra time to recover before a Week 12 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cam Taylor-Britt Suffers Finger Injury In Week 10

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (finger) was injured during Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans. The 2022 second-round pick injured his right finger. However, Taylor-Britt still had his best showing of the year in this one, totaling nine tackles (seven solo). He also had a crucial interception late in the fourth quarter, leading to a game-tying Evan McPherson field goal. It doesn't appear the injury is anything severe. But fantasy managers should monitor his status ahead of Thursday's clash with the Ravens.

Cam Taylor-Britt To Miss The Rest Of Training Camp

Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt underwent core muscle surgery and will miss the rest of training camp, according to head coach Zac Taylor. It's uncertain if Taylor-Britt will be ready by the beginning of the regular season. Before going down, the rookie corner was competing for a backup spot on the roster. The Bengals selected Taylor-Britt in the second round, so they expect big things from him. He could very well get a decent amount of playing time once he's healthy. The loss of Taylor-Britt won't make a huge impact because of was projected as a backup, but it still hurts.
