Will Mallory Fantasy Stats

Indianapolis Colts tight end Will Mallory is a difficult fantasy start and belongs on benches in typical 12-team leagues, even though he should remain involved against the Minnesota Vikings with Tyler Warren (groin) ruled out for a second consecutive game. Mallory returned from a thumb injury in Week 6 and led Indianapolis tight ends with 43 offensive snaps, ahead of Mo Alie-Cox (31) and Drew Ogletree (30). He drew six targets, the third-most on the team, but converted them into just two receptions for 20 yards. The matchup is the problem: Minnesota has held opposing tight ends to 16 catches for 221 yards and no touchdowns through five games, a particularly difficult challenge for an inexperienced receiving option, though his opportunity gives him some desperation-streamer appeal in deeper formats.

Indianapolis Colts tight end Will Mallory (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game against the Houston Texans. The rookie tight end exited and was ruled out with a hamstring issue during the second quarter. He failed to haul in his lone target of the contest. Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox will be the primary options at tight end for the rest of this contest.

Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Will Mallory saw 46 yards on five catches in the team's 34-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The former Miami Hurricane finished second in receiving yards for Indy, falling behind wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. The Colts have utilized several tight ends this season, so there's no certainty that Mallory will keep up this production moving forward. That being said, he may be an interesting name to keep an eye on if he does see additional action. Mallory is currently off the fantasy radar for the team's Week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Indianapolis Colts selected Miami tight end Will Mallory with the 162nd overall pick in the NFL Draft. Mallory participated in five seasons at Miami and mostly improved in each year, capping it off with 42 receptions for 538 yards in 2022. He eclipsed the 300-yard threshold in total receiving to close each of his final three campaigns. The 23-year-old trails only Clive Walford in program history for most catches, yards, and touchdowns at the tight end position. The speedy pass catcher, Mallory, punched in the fastest 40-yard dash time of all tight ends at the combine at 4.54 seconds. With that level of speed and size at 6-foot-5, Mallory could develop into a mismatch creator on the NFL gridiron. He may be worth keeping an eye on as a speculative flier even in deep redraft formats on the Colts, who seem to have relatively light positional competition in Jelani Woods, Kylen Granson, and Mo Alie-Cox.
