Justin Tucker News
The Baltimore Ravens signed kicker Justin Tucker to a four-year extension worth $23.05 million on Wednesday, the team announced. It'll come with around $12 million guaranteed, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported. The contract is the most money ever handed out to a kicker. Tucker has his third All-Pro first-team nod in 2018 after he made 35 of his 39 field-goal attempts, and he's made 90.1 percent of his kicks in seven seasons, which is the highest rate in league history. His lone miss in 242 extra-point tries came last season.
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker was 3-for-3 on extra points and made his lone field goal attempt in Sunday's overtime loss to the Chiefs. Tucker's 28-yard field goal in the second quarter gave the Ravens a 10-7 lead. The six points he accumulated were his lowest in five weeks and snapped a four-game streak of tallying 10 or more points. He has now made 14 consecutive extra point attempts and 13 straight field goals. Tucker, who ranks fifth in the league in field goal makes with 26, remains one of the best kickers in the game.
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker made all six of his kicks, including four field goals, in Sunday's victory over the Falcons. The 14 points tie his season-best mark, and it is his fourth straight game of tallying at least 10 points and sixth time this season overall. The 29-year-old produced 12 straight points to turn a late second-quarter (10-7) deficit into a 19-10 Ravens lead midway through the fourth quarter. He converted kicks of 41, 21, 45 and 47 yards. The seventh-year pro has now made 13 straight field goals and 11 consecutive extra points. Tucker is among the kickers in the league who are must starts.
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker made all four of his extra points and both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's win over the Raiders. He has now made 11 straight extra point attempts and nine consecutive field goals. It was his most extra points since converting five tries in Week 1. The two-time Pro Bowler has posted 10 or more points in each of his last three weeks. Tucker remains one of the best kickers in the game.
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker missed his first career extra-point attempt at the most inopportune time as the Ravens fell to the Saints 24-23 on Sunday evening. Following wide receiver John Brown's 14-yard touchdown reception with 24 seconds remaining, it appeared the Ravens were headed for overtime for a second time this season. However, Tucker -- the most accurate field-goal kicker in NFL history -- pushed the kick wide right for his first PAT miss in 223 tries. He entered the game as the only player with more than 200 attempts to have never missed an extra point. Tucker did finish with five fantasy points for the game. The seventh-year sure-footed pro is still a weekly top-10 play.
