Kyle Hamilton Could Play in Week 13

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) has a chance at suiting up against the Cincinnati Bengals during Thursday's Thanksgiving matchup. Hamilton was already playing through a shoulder issue, but suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's win over the New York Jets. Despite the pair of injuries, Hamilton does have a chance at playing on this short week. His absence would be a tough blow to this defense in what could already be a high-scoring affair between these two squads. Hamilton sat out during Monday's estimated practice, but has a few more chances to get ready to play.

Kyle Hamilton, Ronnie Stanley Inactive for Ravens' Week 5 Contest

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (groin) and left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) are inactive for Sunday's Week 5 contest against the Houston Texans. Both players had been listed as questionable. Hamilton's absence was widely expected since he didn't practice this past week. Stanley, however, was a little more up in the air after he logged three limited sessions. In the end, though, neither starter will suit up. Baltimore is dealing with plenty of injuries on both sides of the ball, so this news is far from ideal. Reuben Lowery and Sanoussi Kane should earn more snaps at safety while Joseph Noteboom steps up to protect Cooper Rush's blindside.

Roquan Smith Ruled Out, Kyle Hamilton Questionable for Week 5

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans, while star cornerback Kyle Hamilton (groin) is considered questionable. The Ravens' defense is one of the most beat-up in the league early in the year. In addition to Smith being ruled out, cornerbacks Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring) and Marlon Humphrey (calf) have also been ruled out. It will make life a lot easier on a struggling Texans offense looking for its second straight win this weekend. Smith is perhaps Baltimore's biggest defensive piece, but he's expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a Grade 2 hamstring strain in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. It's hard to trust the Ravens' defense/special teams unit in fantasy after their rough start, especially with more injuries knocking key players out. However, the friendly matchup against Houston puts them in streamer territory.

Ravens, Kyle Hamilton Finalizing Four-Year Extension

The Baltimore Ravens and All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton are finalizing a four-year contract extension on Wednesday that will be worth over $100 million, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. The former first-rounder has quickly become one of the best safeties in the league and has been a Pro Bowler each of the last two seasons. The 24-year-old is one of the top IDP safeties to target for fantasy because of his abilities in coverage down the field and in the run game. In his three seasons in Baltimore to begin his NFL career, Hamilton has recorded 250 tackles (186 solo), seven sacks, 18 tackles for loss, 15 QB hits, five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 27 pass breakups, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 48 games (36 starts). For a strong Ravens defense, Hamilton is one of their most important players.

Kyle Hamilton Limited With Knee Injury

According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) was a limited participant during Tuesday's practice. The star defensive back saw his typical workload during their Week 18 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the week but seeing him open the week as a limited participant is a positive sign. Across 17 games this season, the Notre Dame product has tallied an impressive 107 tackles (77 solo) with 30 assists, two sacks, nine deflections, two forced fumbles, and one interception. If Hamilton were to miss Saturday's playoff game against the Steelers, Sanoussi Kane would see an increase in playing time.

Ravens Optimistic Kyle Hamilton Will Play Against Steelers

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said he's optimistic that All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) will be able to suit up in Week 11 to face the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Hamilton was injured in last Thursday night's one-point win over the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals but was able to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. It's excellent news for IDP fantasy managers and Baltimore's secondary with a tough matchup against an improving Steelers offense under quarterback Russell Wilson. Hamilton sprained his right ankle last Thursday but is trending in the right direction to play this weekend. If he's active, he should be in starting lineups in the defensive back spot in IDP formats. The 23-year-old is currently the No. 4 fantasy DB with 50 total tackles, two sacks, seven pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 10 games played.

Kyle Hamilton, Kyle Van Noy Return To Practice

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) and linebacker Kyle Van Noy (illness) returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session with an ankle injury and illness, respectively. Hamilton suffered a sprained ankle in the Week 10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but his return to practice is promising for his potential availability against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11. The 2022 first-round pick out of Notre Dame has tallied 71 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and seven passes defended this season. He is the No. 4 defensive back in fantasy points this year. Van Noy has seven sacks this season and is on pace to record a career-high in sacks in his second year in Baltimore. With a key AFC North game on Sunday, expect both defenders to push to play.

Kyle Hamilton Out Of Action On Tuesday

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) is not taking part in Tuesday's practice leading up to an important Week 11 divisional game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hamilton suffered an ankle sprain in the Week 10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals and could be questionable or ruled out later this week for Sunday's contest. The 2022 first-round pick out of Notre Dame has tallied 71 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and seven passes defended this season. He is the No. 4 defensive back in fantasy points this year. The Baltimore secondary has allowed the most passing yards per game (294.9) this season, so his absence could make things worse for the struggling unit.

Kyle Hamilton Suffers Sprained Ankle

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) was forced to leave Thursday night's game after making an awkward plant on his right foot. He did not return to the game, but Ian Rapoport is now saying that the star safety suffered an ankle sprain and it's not considered serious. With how bad the Ravens' defense has been, losing Hamilton for any amount of time would have been a devastating hit. He'll get a few extra days to prepare for Week 11, but his status will be something to monitor throughout next week.

Kyle Hamilton Won't Return On Thursday Night

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) injured his right ankle in the second quarter and will not return in the second half. Hamilton stepped awkwardly with his right foot and went down in a heap before leaving the field under his own power. He went to the locker room to undergo X-rays and won't return for the rest of the game. Until we have the results of the X-rays, we won't have a great idea on how much time the 23-year-old defensive back might miss. Hamilton is one of the best all-around safeties in the NFL, though, so any time he's forced to miss will be significant for a Ravens secondary that has really struggled in 2024. The former 14th overall pick back in 2022 out of Notre Dame was a first-time Pro Bowler in his second season in 2023 and came into Thursday's game with 67 tackles (48 solo), two sacks and five pass breakups in nine games.
